Perhaps the most insightful expression of what it means to struggle with mental illness. Indeed by his example to show what can be achieved with a lot of hard work in identifying your own flaws and how to deal with them. Having been diagnosed with PTSD in 2007 it can be a long journey to understand and cope with your own failings. My sincerest thanks to you Ryan for putting yourself out there and discussing this openly.

Powerful statement. One of the things it was had to learn was being able to say "okay is okay." Perfect is a myth, real people have warts and flaws.
In a former "life" we always planned for success but knew that things would never go as planned. The growth came from stepping back and saying, what didn't go as planned and could we have done something different to prevent or mitigate the shortfall.
