"...as the tides go in and out, the table is set for numerous shore birds feeding along the sandy beaches and rocky shorelines..." might be the best line from an nature video I've heard. Well done!!
You are such a talent!! Your videos are so well done. Also I really respect that you’re not a show-off, and you NEVER make fun of other people. You’re a real one. Such a refreshing break from some of the toxicity coming from certain social media personalities. The biking world, and the world in general needs more women like you 🙏🏽
I love moto camping. And my favorite part is dining after a long day of riding. Your knife skills are impressive, and your attention to detail while cooking is outstanding. Dinner is a big thing for me. Both preparing it, and eating it. I got nothing against the minimalists, but I like to treat myself. Nice job.
The world-famous PCH. It's our back and we never get tired of it. We are currently in New Orleans while on our Roaming The USA Bikecation, and didn't realize how much we miss the west coast until watching this. LOVE this video.
I love Avenue of the Giants. It reminds me of the forest chase scenes in Empire Strikes Back, only it's beautiful and peaceful. 😃 Trees are pretty cool. You probably didn't have the time, but I bet you would have enjoyed a ride out to the Lost Coast, even if you stuck to the "pavement." Anyone that's ridden Mattole Rd knows why I put pavement in quotes there.
You look absolutely radiant. Seriously. I know your camera gear is solid and that your editing is on point but you just have a glow about you. It’s probably the sea air, stunning scenery and the fact you’re on another ride. Right? Don’t we all feel wonderful on a ride? Thank you for taking us on another fun ride.
Excellent episode. California coastline never gets boring. I hope I can take a trip soon up the coast from Orange County, to Crescent city and back. ✌️🇺🇸
I grew up in the Huntington Beach area. My dad planned a bike trip the summer before the left doe USN Basic Training. We ride CA, NV, OR, and WA. Best ride next to my year pilgrimage to Rocky Mountain Roll.
Amanda, I love your content. Can't wait to see you in August. It is my highlight of the year. Great job as always. Let us all Thank Honda for your Africa Twin. Seriously, put his video on when you are at work to bump up the views and thank Honda.
Been following this series closely because a friend from the UK wants to fly over and we'll ride it together! Much appreciated. Also, I could easily spend a week in the redwoods without having any further plans or additional activities. Keep up the good work!
The music was very relaxing and therapeutic, along with your images. I love Amy's soup! Ha, nice choice. Thanks again for another great video. Keep up the lovely work.
The roads at the bottom of the valleys in Coolorado, with rivers running adjacent to them, were among the best roads I have EVER ridden/ driven, for scenic views. Putting even Highway 1, vaunted though it may be, to shame. I did Highway 1 a couple of years ago, and it was amazing. But the valley roads in Coolorado were life affirming.
Oh wow. This is the ride that keeps getting pushed to the back burner. It's my before I'm 60 ride. I love the redwoods. A two hour visit to John Muir woods turned into all day for me. As always a an excellent video an trip.
Trees are pretty cool. Loved going thru the redwoods in 2008 and looking forward to that again in Sept.. You haven't gone soft but you do need to get Doodle camping. She doesn't know what she's missing. Really enjoyed this one.
Oh my gosh, i'm still in awe by The Grandfather Tree and the Redwood National Park in general (at least this bit of what i've seen so far). Seems so mythical and/or mystical even. Astonishing! Trees are pretty cool! The music choice may have enforced that a bit as well. But very well chosen! Looking forward seeing more! It does seems like a nice trip to do!
Thanks for another great tour! I'm watching these in random order, having seen the Oregon ride yesterday and this Northern California ride today. So reminiscent of my past 2 rides along the Oregon Coast to the Redwoods Forest / Avenue Of The Giants in recent years. Call me a bit slow in recognizing patterns, but I'm getting to love your traditional Rain Fly Dance. At first I thought that was part of your intro, but I'm seeing that it's a regular part of all your campground visits. Keep riding and being safe. P.S., "TREES ARE PRETTY COOL."
I have gone through the Redwoods on my bike twice now. NEVER disappointed with that whole area. I was going to go that route about the same time you were there, but detoured to much further inland. I got snow instead.
Majestic trees. Best enjoyed by motorcycle I think. Can smell the trees as well. Never get tired of that Africa Twin as a back drop. One day I'll have one 😁
I love mine so much I bought it 3X. (my brother crashed my first one, I was rear ended on my 2nd one, and i'm currently at 48k miles on my 3rd one.) All DCTs. All incredible machines.
Hello from France What you do is so inspiring. Thank you ! Just ordered today my very own Honda ATAS DCT ES (someway thanks to you) Please continue your videos ❤
Thanks for taking us along on this trip. I love the distraction while in my office and completing boring mandatory training. 🙂 Especially the cool Trees
I must be really fat. I sleep in a 15F Diamond Park bag (top used as a quilt) with a Hammock Gear under-quilt. I sleep in shorts and a tee (rarely in a long sleeved tee) in 30-40F nights and I get hot. Great video! Cans of soup are totally acceptable. Trees are pretty cool!
The redwoods are so completely magical. I can't believe that I haven't been to see the Grandfather Tree yet. Gives me another reason to visit the area!
In the part of the video where take your #parkinglotbreak. I rolled up in probably a work pick up. But I asked you "How do you like the Africa Twin?" And we proceeded to have a short conversation about different adventure bikes. I still haven't bought one but I will be soon. I valued your opinion on the matter. Thank you for the short conversation we had. I appreciate it. And the footage of the coast was great!
Okay so based on our mutual love of Chinese food, I'm now making it my mission to find something good in my area before you make it over here in the fall, haha. This series is SO fun, makes me sad that getting all the way over to CA is such an undertaking for me! I'll get out there eventually. Loved watching you ride through the tree ahaha. Good to know about the snow and sand anchors! Definitely have had that problem a few times haha
I'm so bummed you missed the ride up Hwy 1 from Santa Cruz through Half Moon Bay, and Pacifica to SF. I rode it yesterday, and it can be epic on a clear day. Safe travels!
Awesome content! My wife and I are traveling from TX and riding the area later in September. I'm in awe just by the view on my screen, can't imagine what's it like in person! Ride on
happy to see u again !!! the grandfather tree is AWESOME; i just cant imagine what it has seen over 1800 yrs. and yes, TREES ARE PRETTY COOL !!! [hugs]
Your editing and story telling just gets better and better gurl! I hope my trip to Australia 🇦🇺 will be 1/5 th as entertaining! Much love Amanda! PS I'm still considering buying in Brookings! I'm obsessed....but next trip come down to the Sierra Nevadas...im between Tahoe and Yosemite on my 30 acres..
Trees ARE pretty cool. I have an adventure for you if you choose to accept it. Do a vlog of the Oregon coast lighthouses they are awesome. I have been to most of them cuz I'm lucky enough to have grown up in Oregon just as you were lucky enough to grow up in Montana where my mom was raised
Amanda, one of the best times I've had was paying for the extended private tour at Monterey Aquarium. My wife loved it. We were the only ones there. And we stayed in Monterey for 2 days. My wife is a runner. And we found some great running paths through the town. So awesome.
So much great things to see and experience along the PCH you do such a great job describing the incredible things along this coastal ride a place I call home 👍
Trees are pretty cool! Thanks for the video...All the best from Canada! Pop up here when you have the time and a few extra $$$ and I'll point you to great camps and GREAT roads!
Love the coast and your videos. Your camping is inspiring me to get out again and camp on my 'wing in the upper mid west! Those trees really are pretty darn cool!
ESC... You're selection of scenery was great; captured many of the spots that I missed taking pics on my last trip up. Norcal into Oregon has to be among the nicest rides anywhere. Trees are pretty cool...too.
Amanda, I have driven through Redwood NP and the PCH years ago. Trees are pretty cool to drive through. Bob and I just got back from 9 days 1500 miles of West Virginia roads. They were awesome. Weather was perfect. Great video this week.
i have to say you were one of the first motovloging youtubers i started following last spring and even though i follow many many more now and some have a lot more aggressive release schedule than yours, every time i see you have posted a new video it makes me so happy! just such a great vibe every time! the way you tell your story is so chill and enjoyable to watch. as always thanks for sharing! it made my night to watch this video! i've been wanting to visit to the red wood forest for a while and now i want to see it even more! haha also the gear tips are always greatly appreciated! i live not to far from big bend so i know all too well the difficulty getting tent stakes in the ground unfortunately, i need to get some of these bags! thanks again!
I absolutely adore the PCH, we used to drive on it all the time when I was a kid in San Diego. Haven't been up that far, I want to make a ride from SD up to about San Jose/south San Fran and cut over to Tahoe, ride down to Vegas then back down to SD camping out in the desert somewhere. Would be a hell of a trip! You're killin it, love watching your adventures Amanda
Hold on! What happened between Santa Cruz and San Francisco? Did you fly? Drive highway 17/280/Skyline/236/One? Lots of beautiful scenery between these two cities!
"...as the tides go in and out, the table is set for numerous shore birds feeding along the sandy beaches and rocky shorelines..." might be the best line from an nature video I've heard.
Well done!!
Thank you for sharing your adventures
OMG Amanda, I didn't realize how much I missed your rain fly dance. I had tears. Miss your content. You are probably my favorite TH-cam artist.
Thank you so much!!

This video had it all: calming music, nature, education, and-oh yeah, motorcycles. Love it!
Trees aren't just pretty cool, they are amazing!
Love your videos again and those ancient trees!❤
Honda couldn't have picked a better person to work with!! Love it!
When one hangs out with the Ents it’s never a waste of time.
The woods are lovely dark and deep, but I have promises to keep, and miles to go before I sleep, and miles to go before I sleep
You look absolutely radiant. Seriously. I know your camera gear is solid and that your editing is on point but you just have a glow about you. It’s probably the sea air, stunning scenery and the fact you’re on another ride. Right? Don’t we all feel wonderful on a ride?

Once you get to Crescent City, take a few extra days to continue further north in Oregon!
Tree's are pretty cool......... AND Amazing, 2000 years old, WOW....... they were very impressive, Thankz Amanda

Roads through mountains, and around lakes are always the best rides.
Your editing and background/mood music are great. Really nicely done (as usual). Safe travels.
So nicely done. The music with the redwoods and wide-angle shots was transportive! Just sublime!
Oh wow. This is the ride that keeps getting pushed to the back burner. It's my before I'm 60 ride. I love the redwoods. A two hour visit to John Muir woods turned into all day for me. As always a an excellent video an trip.

Also - Trees are pretty cool.
Indeed.
It's always a pleasure to watch your videos. You take such care with editing and music, and the end result is amazing. Big thanks Amanda!!
Just a beautiful video with just the right music and your narration a pleasure to listen to. Well done a little gem.
I feel like i haven't seen you run around with a rainfly on for so long. It made me smile.
trees really are pretty cool. Esp where you were.

Hot darn! Those snow and sand anchors are exactly what I need for our camping trips!! Thanks Amanda 😊
Majestic trees. Best enjoyed by motorcycle I think. Can smell the trees as well. Never get tired of that Africa Twin as a back drop. One day I'll have one 😁

Hello from France
What you do is so inspiring. Thank you !

Trees are cool, I really liked your capture on the grandfather tree.
A great update and a beautiful part of the world.. can't wait for the next one!! xD
Amazing video. But the run around the tent with the tent-fly, that made my day! (Yeah, I get easily distracted).
Very happy to log on today and see a new video. Thanks for posting.
I used to love riding some of those roads when I lived out in California.
The redwoods are so completely magical. I can't believe that I haven't been to see the Grandfather Tree yet. Gives me another reason to visit the area!
Hi Amanda, nice to see your adventures, thank you for the great tree content. Man they are big.
Love The Redwoods/Avenue of The Giants...Hope to camp there in the near future.
Love this stretch of 1/101. Every corner you go around is a “wow, that’s beautiful” Also love the redwoods - such a beautiful stretch of the way.
In the part of the video where take your #parkinglotbreak.

Trees are pretty cool. Especially the big redwoods. BTW, did you see that Saffy got a CB 500x. I think she see's the Honda light... lol.
Enjoyed the Redwoods- I have yet to get out there to see them . I have a battery powered heated vest I sleep in. When camping in the cold.
So much great things to see and experience along the PCH you do such a great job describing the incredible things along this coastal ride a place I call home 👍

Wow, the trees
Trees are pretty cool. Wondering if you have found a storage/travel helmet bag for your Scorpion? Cheers!
#exped has excellent products and I found them all because of your videos. They should continue sponsoring you.

Thanks for the great video and ride
Glad you enjoyed it
Trees are pretty cool!!
If you are going to dilly dally, Humboldt State Park is an awesome choice.
Et, ut semper, arbores sunt satis frigus.
