    Excellent product for sure.
    I've used the stuff on a Tamiya 1/48 Skyraider.
    Very happy with it, but yes...it is expensive and if you button up the office it is hard to see.
    Had to go back and touch up the white edges but that's no big deal.
    Looking forward to seeing your A-6 build as I have a A-6A in the stash which I am looking forward to building.
    Thanks heaps.

      Thanks. It was a handful getting the fuselage together. So many panels and parts to get lined up. Cluster bombs don't fit the racks. Holes in wrong spot.

      Use white PVA glue and then they are easy to work with.

      @@RWHobbies I have been looking at your videos for the F-18 super Hornet after I'm done with the Tamiya F-14 Tomcat 1/32 scale I'll be work i on the trumpeter F-18 then the F-15Es

    • @RWHobbies
      @RWHobbies  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      In 1/48 The Meng is a really good kit, but may be panel lines are deep. For 1/32 the Trumpeter is really only viable option, but takes some work and filling/sanding go get fuselage parts together. I sold mine a few months ago.

    I have the same problem. I had my stash build up in a way that I had some kit to start, try techniques and metalizer before I move up to the more expensive kits where I have all the aftermarket stuff for but right now I really dont want to build any kit without a quinta cockpit and that anoys me like hell :D

    Hi, question for you if you don’t mind,
    I’ve primed and painted the cockpit, do I put a gloss coat on before the 3d decals or after as intend too use a wash
    Cheers
    Titch

    • @RWHobbies
      @RWHobbies  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I don’t think there is a need to put a gloss clear coat on at all. Cockpit tub is inside the model and not getting a lot of touching. I just paint, glue the instrument pieces and then use a thin oil wash to weather if needed. Abteilung oils with enamel thinner. Translucent consistency. Will work perfectly and not damage paint.

    Do you have any recommendations for the glue. I use Ammo Mig Ultra glue - do you think I can use it for those decals as well…?

    • @RWHobbies
      @RWHobbies  ปีที่แล้ว

      PVA - I use Gator Glue thin blend

    hi Richie, I’d love to go ahead on a project based on the 1/32 Revell Hawker Hunter. Do you know if the guys from Quinta Studio are planning a kit for such a project. If they’re not I would rather withhold my horses....

    Hey, I just got the Kitworld 1/48 F-14 cockpit decals and found your channel while trying to see how to put them on. Can you explain why the Kitworld ones are crap? I haven't used these before and then seem fine, so I'd love to hear your opinions. Thanks!

    • @RWHobbies
      @RWHobbies  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      They just don't look very good when you compare them to the Quinta ones. Still an improvement over what you get in the kit, but just not as detailed or as good quality.

    • @ncairsoft
      @ncairsoft ปีที่แล้ว

      Cool, thank you! I *do* like the Red Wolf ones, but yeah, they're way overpriced. I'm doing an F-15 next, so I'll check out the Quina ones for that!

      Kind of. But would be getting something like Elmer’s and water it down slightly.

    Hi Ritchie, without sounding like a tight-arse, is there an option to donate say, $1.50AUS as a patreon.
    Reason being, it seems a number of you folk are requesting monetary assistance, and I totally get that.
    I like to give to those channels that I find helpful but it adds up.
    Just a thought.

    • @RWHobbies
      @RWHobbies  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No one has to donate anything. I think Patreon starts at $2. I have been sending stickers and other things around the world at my cost ($1.30 a stamp) just to say thanks to people who support me.

    What kind of glue did you use? White glue?

    • @RWHobbies
      @RWHobbies  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yep, PVA. I personally use Gator Glue PE version which is a thinned down version of PVA. Or just add a drop of water to regular to make a thinner mix so it is not so gloppy.
