Hi janet, every country will have different types of pravastatin, so it’s hard to tell, unless I see the exact pravastatin you got. Check with the pharmacist who dispensed the medication for you.
That’s not true. The dose just have to be adjusted accordingly. This is due to how Asian genes metabolizes the medication in the body. You need to speak to your doctor about it. And it’s not all Asians, it’s more selective than that.

Hello Takeshi, go back and see your doctor, he will change you to a different statin.
I take Pravastatin/Pravachol 40 should I not drink beer on weekends?

For better absorption. If you take it with food , upon blood test your blood result are good, you can take it with food
I have been taking it both with and without food and get my blood tests this Thursday so we shall see

Can you eat grapefruit with this drug?
Small amounts should be fine. If you notice your cholesterol is out of control, then stop the grapefruit
