Any fertilizers recommended during flowering to retain fruits, or avoid dropping of immature fruit.

If the tree is of decent size (6-10 meters) fertilizer will be of little use, but if it is shorter, I'd suggest using natural fertilizers such as cow dung and ashes

I have a lot of blue flies in the garden. Can you share the links for mango flowers?

The blue flies are perfect for pollination, you just seat back and relax watching fruits form

Did the self pollination with spray bottle work for you?

Didn’t work, but I have found that ants work well as pollinators which takes care of the problem.

Did this work? I’m having a hard time attracting flies to my Glenn mango which blooms in January.

I don’t think so. I had 2 fruit that set, but I think that was the bees that got in my greenhouse. Unfortunately, the fruit dropped. I think the trees needs to be a bit older.

I am also having a hard time collecting information on how to grow mangos properly.. there are alot of videos on how to sprout and grow the tree even to s of videos on sickness nutrients and everything else.. but things like that you need to pollenate the tree in order to get decent fruit is not something any of them mention atleast in the florida mango growing channels i have been watching. Only realised it once i saw a video on some of the best japanese growers and they explained it well. For people growing outside it isnt an issue really but indoor or greenhouse growers look after there plants alot more closely since it is not out in the elements so needs to be done manually.. also found it really difficult to get my hands of the new varieties of mango no one is willing to send a seed so unless u live in the US u arnt getting to try any new strains.

Have you had success hand pollinating? What did you do?

Well i have a mango now iv got under a grow light it is about a month old and looking really good, nutrients medium and environment will not be an issue, but i have been thinking about this for soo many hours…. I think i just need to grow another mango tree so i atleast have two and maybe watch some more tutorials on how to hand polinate, although i will eventually have them in a grow tent so they will be close enough to pollinate each other through wind from my fans and il just give it a little extra help with some shaking and what not.

Any insects i bring into my home and tent that could pollinate would be grinded up by the fans pretty fast as well as sticky traps. Also i am certain i am growing a kent mango which is mono embryonic so no garauntee il get decent fruit

Mangoes are also wind pollinated. You may want to place a fan in front of your mango tree while it's in bloom.
