actually the correct way to play the first few days is go to construction site, rush metal workshop upgrade, create lockpick and sawblade, go to construction site again and make a hatchet. you can almost never fail with this method, then you can chop up some furniture and get enough wood to make bed for night 3. feed ruben some raw food on day 1, you should be able to cook food on day 3. when you go to neighbor's house on night 4, bring a hatched and chop up his furniture and give him fuel.

A theory. The war crimes are from ‘41 to ‘45. Germany invaded Yugoslavia in 1941. After the invasion Croatia became an independent puppet state and created the Ustashe militia that committed many war crimes. This game probably takes place in Croatia or maybe Bosnia-Herzegovina. The Ustashe was also highly anti semitic, for obvious reasons.

I've seen some documentaries in my language where paramilitary/official military groups in 90s burned religious buildings (whatever abrahamic religion you may think of) and smashing into pieces their interior, literally bringing cameras to record their ''victory''. And Ruben's story reminded me of that. And not just that, but a lot of documents from WW2 got burnt during war. Even now as we speak, most of those criminals (whatever side you may think of) never faced proper punishment, very few of them actually got thrown into jail, but that jail time is very petty. Those ''most people'' either died a natural death or killed themselves during trial. Ironically when they were in power, they were willing to coax people into killing each other because they spoke different language than theirs, had different religion than theirs, or later on because they were wrongthinkers.

Just saying- at the very beginning you had everything you need to make the metal work bench which would have given you access to the axe and crowbar. Every time you say "I need fuel," "I need wood,' or "I don't have a crowbar" what I hear is "I need to make the metal bench."

There are a dozen free dictionaries online, but simply googling the word (and auto-filling "definition" or "meaning" if necessary) will return a dictionary definition right at the top of the results page. Also, *_synonym,_* (not "sinonim") and *_apocalypse_* (not "acopalypse"). People are too lazy to even use Google.
