The Aurochs (breed of cow) are an amazing story -- they tried to breed them back into existence in Prussia/Poland in the Interbellum years, if I recall correctly.
You brought it up a couple of times in the radio story, and again in this one, but I don't think the army being the objectively "bad" faction is a bad thing. Rather than looking at it as "if they're always bad why does it matter", I look at it as "if they're always bad, what constitutes being good". Is morality black and white, good guys and bad guys? Or is it on a scale? When you are surrounded by monsters, what makes a human? Just because you aren't evil doesn't mean you're doing the right thing. The army being the baseline "bad guy" just serves as a backdrop for the sliding scale of morality in the face of evil. Does doing what you need to do to survive make you a bad person if it gets other people hurt? What about preserving your history. Is "the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few" still true when it comes to life and death? Is cultural history worth suffering for, dying for even? I feel like it's a bit reductive to say that the army being the bad guys makes them any less valuable as plot point on the scale of morality.
@Pravus Gaming it's to hard for me to see you in such a struggle.. 1) Right mouse button transfer slot from one side to another (in this way you can transfer full stacks); 2) You don't need to gather everything to one existing pile. You can open backpack and drop item when scavenging to create new pile where you can drop items;| P.S your content is lovely as always :)
Right click to move stacks up to 10. Try clicking the *C to turn it into *F. (Edit: haven't tried this myself, if it doesn't work the calculation for *C to *F is: multiply by 9, divide by 5, add 32. 21*C = 70*F. 5*C = 41*F) Tab to switch between characters. Space pauses the game without pop-ups.
Anja is pronounced as ''Anya''. If you ever watched ''Anastasia'' cartoon, perhaps you noticed characters saying ''Anya'' when talking about main character. Also at 7:36 it's written ''Family's Collection'' in Serbian on that aged paper. Cheers! :D

from what I can tell, the items are destroyed for the purpose of the fact that the rebels' main cause is a separatist movement based off a national identity. So the army is ordered to help destroy such a national identity.
honestly I don't like this scenario. do you know why? it's because this is the way the game was supposed to be played. Hard decisions, no right choices. you can't thrive, you have to become a villain to survive.
