Anybody know the lead guitarist's name? Those solos are ineffable, amazing, make me want to find more of his work, of his magic. And the bass guitarist, Hagar Ben Ari, amazing too but with the added element of being simultaneously Cool (the shades) and Hot -- perhaps _The Venus of the Cool_ (with a nod to Miles Davis).

This is a timeless classic that brings back many memories for me. I like that this cover retains the nostalgia of the original yet giving it a more modern tone which just adds to the listening pleasure of this classic. Well done and another one to add to my music list!

You just took me back 35yrs, thank you :) For a few minutes there I was back to a sunday morning in 1985 with the sun shining, me and my wife in our new MR2 with the sunroof out, windows open and playing this in the cassette deck as we drive to Napa valley for lunch at the Mustard grill.
i love this version. has its own twists and perks than the original one, but still similar. has more of those dreamy vibes. 🤩✨

As a fan of this song since the first time it hit the airwaves, this is the best cover I've ever heard.
I've never hit like so quickly, let alone on a cover! Laid back, airy sweet vocals and that guitar motif that floats and sings right in the groove. Ah... A perfect ending to this night.

The original always tears me up as I love the song, but it brings back the most painful memories & emotions from my younger days too. This version does the same...but is a fraction less painful and much more melodic. Thank you @Pomplamoose

coolest bass player I've ever seen
There are some songs that are so perfect, it's hard to alter the arrangement. You tweaked it a bit (ever so tastefully), but left most of the bones in place. Still put your flavor into it so nicely.
This one is radio ready. I'd think Sirius Spectrum would put it into rotation today.
