Fantastic run through of features and design ideas! This will keep pinball alive and thriving for future generations of players! There is no substitute for tactile pinball action!
Very nicely put together video and very entertaining as well. I played it and really enjoyed it. Pat Lawlor is an awesome designer who I have grown up playing his games all my life and loved them all. I was born in 1970 as well. Thanks for posting this.
They definitely nailed the carnival theme in the best way. Personally I'm most nostalgic for the first two games but if this game is fun I won't be able to stop playing it because of the theme

Look at the editing quality of the video🤩 Zach, the money you are making in pinball is peanuts compared to what you can make in Hollywood/video editing/movie production. Just saying buddy, I know money is not everything, but your skills are amazing.

I was skeptical on the theme chosen being the fourth movie, but after seeing it in action it legit looks like a good time. They did the best with the hand they were dealt with and had plenty of fun with the theming. Here's hoping to find one nearby in the future
Why Toy Story 4 specifically and not just Toy Story in general? They didn't make Pirates of the Caribbean about one movie specifically, for good reason.
This may have worked if released a few years ago when Toy Story 4 was hitting theaters, but yeah. They did not go for the franchise of assets... and that is disappointing but I understand how it may have been a good idea a few years ago when they planned on releasing it.
People here clearly don’t know how licences play a huge game in what they can do. Yes pirates had all moves BUT has no character at all they were allowed to use in their video feeds. For this movie they have the rights for ts4 to use. The company has to work with what they’re allowed to use and they did a great job on it.
It’s kind of weird to me that they used the least nostalgic part of the franchise to make the game around. It’s too bad it’s not just a Toy Story theme and it has to be 4.
That is EXACTLY my biggest disappointment. I get it when companies push their latest IP and Pixar wanted license to be Toy Story 4. But they are years late, and it reminds me i have not cared about the stuffed animal characters, or most of the characters. I bet this game shoots great like Dialed In. I expected more... and will have fun playing... but I'm not going to spend 12K for them taking the movie in the franchise I have zero connection with. Looks neat, likely fun. Not a must own for me in any way.

Yeah, they approached it right with Pirates getting all movies in a franchise in the game, and they missed here. I wanted to see green army men, a pig bank, slinky dog… and I get characters I feel nothing for. Neat pin. Theme integration could have been AMAZING and instead it is just good from a movie a few years ago that everyone would rank as the least impactful of the 4. No kid from a few years ago is still into Forky or any of the new characters. I’m sure this will be great to shoot like dialed in, and just sad that I was hoping I would get a family dream theme integration, instead of just a decent family option for pinball that we have. SDTM would have rated this an A, but I excerpt a B+ with theme and toys
100% agree, I don't own any JJP machines and never really planned to, but when I heard Toy Story was in the works I knew I would buy one sight-unseen... when I heard this morning it was Toy Story 4 my heart dropped... what an incredible disappointment... I may still go for it but I am going to have to wait and see it at IAAPA this fall if they even show up this year
The game looks even better and better throughout the video, looks like it has a great flow and love the theme. The theme being toy story 4 doesnt seem like a big deal because I think it fits the pinball theme better with all these arcade games and the carnaval in the film. The only problem I have with this game are the darn prices man, 17k for a CE and 14k for a limited edition is just too expensive... Great work Pat Lawlor, still the best game designer in my opinion!
Epic missed opportunity here. This is so disappointing! Based on Toy Story 4, epic fail! Manufacturers are going backwards with utilizing technology and creativity. Jump ramp and pop-up bash toy??? nothing innovative. Come on, no Slinky Dog Ramp? How can you not work in a Claw Machine mech in some way? There should have some unique innovation with mechs. Toy Box Lock? Talking Potato Head? And don't need another LCD screen on the playfield, aaaaahhh!! That location would have been great for a unique mech!! The cabinet art is a boring movie poster. Disney probably didn't allow JJP to have original art done. Toy Story is about Andy’s toys in Andy’s room. Woody. Buzz. Slinky. Mr. Potato Head. Hamm. Rex. Jessie. Army men. The Aliens. And the Claw. I love many of Lawlor's classic Pinball Machines, but he is getting old and lacking innovation. Younger designers like Keith Elwin are being more creative. I don't think I would even play this machine on location. A big pass for me. On the positive note, there are several other great pins out there to play and own.

Totally looking forward to the game... I hope that they include a "kids mode" to make it a bit easier to play (like bumpers on bowling lanes). My son and I play games at a local arcade and I often see kids start up a pinball game only to abandon the game after a few seconds after the first ball save.
It is great pinball theme. Perfect would have been pulling from all 4 movies for scenes and characters.... it is neat. For what it is. But if you asked the market for their theme desire, Toy Story 4 would be the least desired. Can't be perfect if you miss the ball with the license and settle for the 4th tier content. I'm going to love playing this. Just saying theme license takes this game down from being perfect with potential they had would it have been a generic Toy Story game with IP from all movies.
great game for $9K LE and $12K CE. I hope all the scalpers/flippers who bought the CEs get hosed. Maybe JJP can put out more games then 1 per 3 years at some point.
I wish it was all toy story and not the newest one but that's my opinion, like the colour like the flow but I do prefer gnr as I do have it at home. Jjp does some very next level games.
If you enjoy your GNR your going to like how this shoots to. I say that loosely as they are two very very different pins ha ha but you’ll still like this one I think.
This machine would be a hit at a Chuck E. Cheese, the Disney theme parks, an "arcade" that's filled with redemption games (the type of arcade that filled with little kids), or a small, family friendly, game room. I just can't see this machine being a success at a barcade that caters towards the Gen X crowd.
Now all I gotta do is win the lottery and I can own one. Holy hell, it looks amazing though. My absolute favorite Disney movie as a child and one of my dream themes. Can't wait to play it.
The CE sold out. I'm new to pinball. Is that common. Are people trying to resell the reserve spots It seems like pinball have become like concert tickets. Will the have another run of production for CE. I'm confused if people are just excited to get it first or if they know if they don't get it now that they will have to pay more to buy it resold because of limited supply.

I have one virtual pinball machine and three modded arcade1up ( one eight button joystick two player layout, one with a Wii and light guns and one with a PC and steering wheel pedals and 6 speed shifter
Just learned that Keanu Reeves did voice for Duke Caboom in movie. Understand difficult to get Keanu for game but he does do a lot of video games for big $

Earthshaker is a masterpiece. An era when pinballs were not that expensive, and full of creativity (Adam’s, Twilight Zone, etc…).

4 is a conclusion of sorts to the franchise. It’s really good and makes up for 3 which I felt was the worst of the franchise.

Played this last week. Wasn't a fan of the shots, i have to be honest. Didn't do much for me.
