on some of these "easter eggs" the creator really is streching far, like why whould disney reference spyro if they didn't even have any relations with insomniac or activision
The Spyro thing was a joke poking fun at a reference that went over a lot of people's heads due to being fairly obscure. If you watch the few seconds immediately after that, he goes to correct the record by pointing out it's a reference to a Disney World ride that has a cult following (which happens to include a lot of staff at Pixar).
