  • Here's my Triumph Trident 660 Review, I've had it now for about a month and it's becoming the Perfect motorbike For First Time Riders in my opinion. It has good speeds, torque, comfortability, fuel economy and agility for anyone who wants to start out riding a motorbike. It's also great as a second bike or even professionals will find the Trident 660 is a bike that offers a lot of fun to ride and it's reasonably priced. Apologies for the audio when riding, we will get better at recording sound.

    Love mine. I have had many bikes over 50 years of riding, averaging 11k miles per year with commuting and visiting various locations in the course of work. Now retired and this, for me, is the ideal chill-out bike to keep the old brain young.

    Great video mate. Loved your view of the trident I’ve had many different bikes over the years but always come back to triumph for build quality you can’t fault them. 👍

    I've been riding since 2015. Had a wide range of bikes including a 79 yamaha xs750 2005 suzuki katana and a boulevard 1400 intruder. I would say the trident is not a bike for a first time rider, unless you have a restrictor kit on it. I bought mine last winter and even with 80 hp it felt way faster than anything I rode before. I would say its a good second bike especially for the price.

    Beginner friendly- perhaps when its dialed back.. but i wouldnt say its a beginner bike or "first bike" for someone new to riding. Plenty of power to get a new rider into some dicey situations. Just my two cents

    • @GadgetsBoy
      @GadgetsBoy  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Fair comment. I think I approached from a car buyer perspective where when I passed my test, a ford fiesta or Clio was perfect to get started. So what I’m trying to say was this is great for getting started if you don’t wanna be on mopeds or a 125. Thanks for your comment

    • @GadgetsBoy
      @GadgetsBoy  ปีที่แล้ว

      Some training schools limit the power. I did mine on a 950cc but they dropped it to 650 I think for training purposes

      I did my training 21 years ago on a suzuki freewind wich had 45 hp but that was already enough more then enough for me. Didn't the power of the trident felt intimidating to you ?

    • @alexv5581
      @alexv5581 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@clubsobri You're obviously a young dude who only cares about is how you look. The R6 and cbr600rr are racing replicas with engines designed for the track. Do you have any skills that can take advantage of those bikes ? If you're new, then that's being stupid. Nobody talks about how when your new to bikes, the size and physics of the bike is something new to your brain. All you will learn is how to control power, rather than riding techniques and skill. You won't look cool on a supersport when you're stalling, dropping it, and body positioning is out of whack.

    A 600 cc is not a beginners bike.
    Please stop saying things that are not true, you certainly are a beginner to call this bike a beginner’s bike.
    A 125 is a starter, a 150 is a regular commuter, a 200 is an enthusiast beginner , anything between 200 to 300 is a regular enthusiast rider, 300 and above is a lifestyle enthusiast on two wheels.

    • @GadgetsBoy
      @GadgetsBoy  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      But that’s your opinion and you’re entitled my man. This is still a starter bike once you have passed your full licence and had been riding 125 on your cbt. This will get you ready for the likes of the R7 which has more pull

    You should have started with a smaller engine capacity. You don’t know how to ride this bike yet. You need a lot more experience to meld yourself and become a more capable rider.
    It is t your fault, whoever sold you the bike should be fired from the showroom, very irresponsible on their part.
    Please get a smaller capacity bike and get your skills upgraded, become more capable then ride this bike.
    You won’t be able to appreciate this bike for what it is right now.
    please do be careful.

    • @GadgetsBoy
      @GadgetsBoy  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I’m more than capable actually, but thanks for your comment. I’ve been on much powerful ones than this. If you live in London, you’d appreciate this is a good starter bike once you get your full licence and something you can get around on and still powerful to hop on the M6 if you need to. My skills are fine and thank you

      Triumph is marketing this and the street twin as their entry bikes. Much easier going than the MT07. The traction control will get you out of sticky situations and the throttle is linear. It's also on some fantastic confidence enspiring road 5 tires to boot! It can also be power limited to comply with your A2 license
