That was so beautiful! The horse seemed to appreciate her touch too. She didn't grab anything, she simply petted the horse. Nice. Awe that melted my heart! Good job Horseman Guard. For its guarding the dreams and future of peoples hearts that is the highest calling.
It's like he knew, he was so careful when she was stroking him, God bless animals. ❤
His rank is trooper, of the Household Cavalry, the Blues and Royals.
Actually he's a Life Guard. Blues & Royal s wear blue tunics and Red plumes on their helmets, whereas Life Guards as illustrated in this video wear Red Tunics and Cream coloured plumes. They are both members of the Household Cavalry. My Late Father was in the Blues & Royals.
The wife’s cutting onions again, some things just set your day up right.
I get the same feeling when I see these sort of videos. Like saying I've got something in my eye as well, I love the peeling onions though. A lovely comment which warms the heart 💘
To be honest...the respect was mutual, the lady asked the guard if she could pat the horse, the guard agreed...the lady showed a respect that many other don't.
That horse can sense good or bad intentions!!
And she didn`t stay too long,l etting others to take a turn
That was oddly endearing to see. Finally someone showing some common sense and respect. She did as I would-politely ask permission to pat or stroke the horse first.
She was very respectful in everything she did.
Very good point!!!
Just beautiful, a real delight !. Plus, it looked like the young lady thanked the guard, something other tourists neglect to do !
The horse stayed so still while the lady stroked him, almost as if it knew... Guard was a total gent too..
Because the horse did know. Whether from the guard with nonverbal or it's own observation...
Horses do know.
@@toniakerley2536I remember reading a story about Breeder's Cup-winning mare Zenyatta, where an autistic child was introduced to her. The boy got over-excited and started screaming and poking, but million-dollar Zenyatta just stood there patiently as he expressed himself.
@@toniakerley2536 That's because animals are Way better than us "people".
Because she clearly showed that she liked the horse and was gentle. Communication at it's best.
She had the decency to ask the guard if it was o.k. to touch the horse - must have been a very pleasant change for him
Both the young lady and the Kings guard show great respect for each other.
The horse stood stock still for her: no head tossing, champing, or body movement. They know.
I thought the exact same thing. Just beautiful.
Not my country, but I am so proud of this young soldier. From an American veteran.
Every once in a while I see something that restores my faith in humanity. Thank you for sharing this.
The guards always seem to move the horse towards disabled people, wonderful gesture from them.
Total respect to that lady. She asked if it was Ok, not like the ignorant one's you see on here.
Respect to that soldier, too. His parents must be so proud.
I'm convinced these horses know a good person when they see one.
Totally agree.
Of course they do.
Another great capture for the world to see. We need kindness more now more than ever.
Oh my God, even the horse was compassionate towards her in a very special way. (Not to say that these horses are not compassionate)..but there was something more in the way the horse turned to her, you could see it! Wow, this just melts my heart. What a wonder to witness!
Animals can sense things. They know when someone needs a bit extra. The horse just stood absolutely still for that woman. Nice work by the lad on horseback. An absolute gem to his regiment.
...yep, that horse knew
That was so sweet, a horse turned his head towards her to let her pet him. I believe horses know when someone is disabled.
She was sutch sweet polite lady and the guard and horse were polite and gental back bless em
Horses are sensitive to people I’ve ridden a horse that was a real test of my riding abilities he was in a real mood Next lesson a party of young disabled teens came into the school and the horse that id ridden was like a lamb with the teenage lad on his back I was in awe with the gentleness shown by this 16’ 2 beast of a horse less than 30mins before.
Note the change in the horses behavior. The horse knew not just the King’s guard. Animals are far more perceptive than we are.
That was tearfully joyful to witness, beautiful girl, GOD BLESS her, beautiful horse and the honorable soldier to allow her permission to love the horse a little... Respect Sir.
The Late Queen and the King would approve of this act of kindness.
dya know, i've wondered if she watched these, i guess she did as a lady that loved horse anyway, let alone her own Guards. i can only imagine her wee laughs when it went slightly disrespectfully wrong!
Horses are known to be empathic especially when it comes to disabled people, so gentle and tolerant.
I guess I need to dust more often. Some of it got in my eyes.
These guys are the best. They put up with a lot of idiots and disrespectful people but they always have time foe special situations, well done that man
It is wonderful to see that the nonsense that these guards must endure everyday does not harden their hearts.
That one disabled lady behaved with far much more respect and civility than most of the angry swarm that visit daily. Well done to that young man and the many who perform the duties whilste being kind considerate and totaly professional.
Great example of a soldier right there!!! has a job to do and show's great compassion and professionalism to a lady that just wants to have a photo and say hi to the horse
The horse also seemed to understand she needed special attention 😊
Both the guard and the horse did well ❤
I thought so too. I can't tell if the guardsman twitched the reins to to have the horse turn towards the woman or in response to the horse turning towards her... Either way all three of them were respectful and it made for a very sweet moment.
@@FlakMagnet I think the guard wanted to be sure the horse saw her and gave her some attention 😉😊
It takes but a moment to make a difference in someone's life.
This lady will never forget this moment and will repeatedly share it among those around her.
This I have saved. I have no use for people who disrespect the Guard . But to show courtesy to the less fortunate is the true nobelity.
This young man and his steed represent the Monarch and I'm sure His Majesty would be well pleased and proud.
I did a lot of horse riding in my youth in South Africa
we had some calls from homes with handicapped people to come and visit the horses
I was always with a tear in my eyes when I saw what tenderness there was between those people and the horses
they have an incredible understanding
this was one such moment
Thats what life is about right there.
Brought a tear to my eye. Bless him.
Dear Team, Our King's Guard & The Kind Horse☺️, OMG, I had tears 😢 in my eyes to see how politely & kindly he nodded to her to touch the 🐎. Also, he had a sweet smile that made her feel very warm☺️❤🥰.
Team, A BIG THANK YOU to YOU for capturing such a lovely moment. Such moments are very rare, otherwise we just see those tourists, who assume they are permitted to touch, make faces & Disrespect😡 the guards & the King's Team... Good job🥰☺️❤️
The horse guards are some of the UKs best ambassadors for kindness. We could all learn something from them. Lovely.
Lovely woman and lovely guard. The smile on her face as she petted the horse was so beautiful. People could learn a lot from this woman, like manners.
Simple acts of kindness are beautiful things to witness. Thank you sir.
Even the horse understood.
There are some people with respect in this world, which is lovely to see!
Beautiful and tear-jerking.
Observe how even the horse knew this was a moment to remain as calm as possible. No tossing of the head, just gentleness. ❤❤
Both the horse and rider are responsible for that. The guard gently pulled the horse back a few inches as a signal, the horse's intuition did the rest.
Yes, I noticed also how calm the beautiful horse was and to sense when to be gentle.
...yep, that horse knew, no question
What a wonderful gesture towards the young lady. It brought tears to my eyes when I watched it. The Guard appreciated it to because she thanked him. Absolutely Wonderful. 💕💕
Me too, tears now. Lovely thing to see.
I’ve got something in my eye
Same here, It made my Eyes Water, for sure. Such mutual respect and kindness, that made my Day 🙏💖💖
Yeah, tears for me too…. 🇧🇷
Not young
That was Nice of him. A Big Thank You to the guard, Hope you got a promotion.
This is wonderful. Kudos to the guy who filmed it. That is one smart horse!
Horse had a Fantastic Temperament, Guard had every Confidence in Him /Her To Allow Close Contact
Its amazing how animals can sense special people.
My labradors have always had this special intuitive bond with small children or perhaps rather frail people. Like these magnificent horses, they have great empathy and compassion.
Wonderful moment.
Much respect to the guard and horse, and as well as the woman to ask as did 💯❤️
A medal for each and every one of these troopers who show this level of compassion.
Very sweet. Saw the lady that smelled the horse too. Horses smell so good.
Love has many forms and many faces, this was LOVE in its purest form. Blessings to that precious lady she will remember that day for a very long time. The Guard will have that good deed in his good Karma place forever. Ty young man for being a devoted soldier standing your post proudly on your magnificent horse with good grace. Not all who attend horse Guards are idiot entitled people some are Angels without wings.
Keep Safe Keep Strong 🦘🦘🦘🦘💖💖💖💖
😊🙏😘⚘❤
I truly appreciate your comments. This one, in particular, was very touching. And, I do agree, this moment stands out in the midst of too many disrespectful acts shown on these videos.
Lovely moment. God bless you all
Touching in more ways than one! A delightful moment.
Such an awesome guard for that❤
….made me cry.
Personally I think a lot of people can learn a lesson in etiquette and behaviour from this lady and the guard. People showing understanding and respect.
Made me cry. Thankyou for sharing that lovely moment. ❤
Thank you for your service to our country, much respect to horse and lifeguard
They must pick the King’s Guard carefully, how reassuring to know there are still good people in this world.
Made her day! The simple things are the best.
That was quite touching...
How lovely was he. These horse guards are so thoughtful and lovely to all the disabled and old and all those who need to be treated with care and servility. Well done to horses and ther guardsmen. Your a credit to this country, we should be very proud of you all. 👍😍❤️
Your a credit - should be "you are a credit", you're. Your is a possessive pronoun, not a verb!
@@joeoak8181 oh dear, grammar police show up once again…🥴
The moment was so sweet, I wanted to cry. She had the courtesy to ask first, the guard responded & nudged his horse to her. I believe the horse sensed to be gentle with her.❤
Absolutely. You could see the guardsman nodding and telling her it was OK. And the horse reacted perfectly.
Horses just know. They are smarter than most people think. I used to take my OTT to an aged care facility I worked at and he just loved it. Staff would bring residents out in wheelchairs and beds to say hello. He would just drop his head for them so they could touch him however they could and was the perfect sweet gentleman for them. As I said before horses just know😊
Humans being kind to one another. Imagine that.
A small gesture makes all the difference to a persons day. Attentive and caring guard.
they react really well to any disabled person, well done those guards
Animals have more understanding than we give them credit for. I've noticed this over and over again. The very old, the disabled, and little children---the horse is always gentle and quiet. Nice guard, too.
Horses are overall smarter tyan given credit for
A small kindness made her day. Respect on both sides, kudos to that guard and his horse.
It helped that she apparently asked first.
💗💗💗 Just perfect
Three cheers for the King's Guard. Good man.
That was lovely to watch ❤❤
Oh my heart is melting!
How the horse's instincts instantly kick in and turn toward the disable lady. Beautiful animal 💗
That lad is a star. Made her day!
Much respect to the Guard...&, an equal amount of respect goes to that beautiful horse 🐎 with a heart of gold ❤
Lovely ❤❤
These young Soldiers are so great. They are truly what Great Britain can be proud of.
Agreed, he's a Trooper in the Household Cavalry, Life Guards Division. Chances are he never even rode a horse before he joined up.
What a wonderful moment..that young man was raised well…
It has nothing to do with him being raise right , she asked permission to pet the horse . I would say she is the one who was raised right .
I think so too. It was a wonderful gesture towards the young lady
I think you're right. They don't take hooligans into the Guard.
Such a genuine tender caring moment, thank you for sharing that with us. Wonderful Guard
The patience and discipline of these soldiers are instructive to the rest of us.
What a lovely gesture👍
Wish everyone was as kind as that guard ❤️
Another amazing moment ,
Thank you for sharing 👍
Oh my heart 😪 that was beautiful
Wonderful
What a kind soldier - a credit to his uniform.
Amazing thank you for being kind to the lady god bless you and keep you safe 💕
The horse provided the lead, what a lovely moment
That guard is an excellent representative of his service.
Those horses consistently show more humanity than most of the people they encounter.
Both are a HUGE credit to the King's Guard
That Guard is the best! In another video, he moved in to allow a couple of Veterans to get a good photo. *I have so much respect for him!*
You are a Wonderful Guard. God Bless you and the Horse. Gorgeous Horse.❤🐴👑
That is one of the most endearing things I have ever seen. I am choked up.
The disabled should be respected and all reasonable adjustments made as here.
This guard knows right from wrong. May he live to 100+.
A beautiful moment between all three. Wouldn't it be wonderful if all tourists treated the Guards and horses with the same respect as this woman.
The young lady was raised properly!❤
We can take a leaf out of her book . She has a beautiful soul
Absolutely gorgeous 🤗💖
What kindness and gentle respect the guard had for the lady. The horse seemed to understand the situation as well. Good on you.
the horse knew
God bless and keep this young soldier safe.
OMGosh the guard and the horse - my heart is melting. So sweet of both of them and for the lady to ask how amazing. A true lovely moment. TY 🤗❤️👍 You should have finished what you started to say …”did you see that…???”
What a delightful moment 😊
Amazing how much more kind animals can be than people sometimes.♥♥♥
