F150 lock actuator text and the real problem

The left rear door lock stopped working (neither FOB nor switch would work) but I could still manually lock/unlock it. I changed the actuator out to find it still didn’t work. First, I wanted to test the actuator from the car battery and this is how I did it. I added to the video with the actual problem at the end. My advice, check door wiring first before ordering parts. After finding the broken wire, I simply crimped a butt connector to both and and BAM! It worked.
