Looks like your tester wasn't on the STOP SALE list from Honda for the fuel pump recall. I tried to buy a 25 Sport sedan in Red at three different dealers who had the car on their lot, and they couldn't sell it to me because of this recall.
When the sport hatchbacks were $27k new, it's easily justifiable to buy the Sport instead of the upper trims. Now at $29k, I'd rather go with the Si or the Hybrid for a little bit more. Also I'm disappointed of Honda not updating the headunit for every model that's not the top trim; small screen and wired carplay/android auto.
Honestly, once you test drive a hybrid, the extra like $3k for the sport hybrid hatchback becomes almost a no brainer. Better mileage, faster car, heated seats and a sun roof.
Great review Anthony. Honda always does a great job and I really like the styling they did with the rear. They did kind of cheap out on the interior and I am pretty sure you could get more with Hyundai at the same price point or just go with the hybrid for 50 mpg 😁87 here today and it's just perfect. 40 last night and so love that as well. Sounds like you have been having some great cool weather over on your side! I saw that the northwest is freezing and getting loads of snow and I called a friend in Buffalo to gloat lol. I did not know that EVs were so tough on tires and that is something for sure to factor in when considering one. Sounds like construction is almost done yes? It will be so nice to have your house back. Oh I did reply to your message last night but the YT gremlins deleted it I think lol. Hope all is well and happy Friday Anthony
Thank you James. I like the Civic but Honda has become excited with pricing and I agree it’s very simple inside. I had an Elantra a few years back and it was a great vehicle. None hybrid but I still remember it cost around 32-35$ to fill. Every time I pumped I felt like I rubbed the gas station 😂. That’s good it’s staying cooler at night it makes the hotter weather feel cooler all day. That’s is the way it has been going here. Hotter and hooter but colder at night. I have family in NY (bronx) and I don’t miss that snow. The city wasn’t any better! Every time you clean off the snow in your car the snow plow would fill it back up lol. We have some neighbor that we exchange food before holidays but because of work everyone has been staying to themselves. It’s nice to have close neighbors around it makes it feel more like home. The house is done with the major stuff now just aesthetic, pant and I have had to fix what should’ve been fix by the contractor. Oh well it needs to get done so we can enjoy it. Getting Isa ready for the livestream but he has been a little sick so maybe an espresso 😁. I’ll check on my computer to see what happened. Yt has been holding comments today. I checked and everyone is says 5-6 hours ago. Maybe it’s another update but I’ll check. Happy Friday James hope to see you on the livestream
Just picked up sport touring hatch 2 weeks ago. Love it. Biggest issue by far for me is the seats. But I kinda knew that going in.
@@mattforst6591 congratulations Matt and thanks for sharing
I think the Hybrid is the way to go, thanks 😀
I agree Alen

This was the only one they had on the lot. Every one was stop sell which means don't move it.

I don’t know why Honda want to go back to the 80s 90s of overall style. The back is soooo 80s, the dashboard is soooo oldies like old school car.
The new vintage styling for todays times
LED lights look nice, but when you have to replace them, you will pay big $$$
@@ryanjeffries3407 that is true
That’s not bad at all
@@Fyahking619 it’s an awesome vehicle
To get the hybrid, you have to get a moonroof. Ridiculous!
It’s good vitamin D 😁
