"UGH" from the album 'Queen of the Murder Scene' is a rocker for sure and one of my all time faves from the band. This song was a difficult one to finish for the group and every time they came back to it to try and complete it they would say "ugh". The title stuck. At the time, their father encouraged them finish it and from the struggle, they managed to create two other songs from out of the rubble - "The One" & "The Sacrifice" both continuing the concept story of 'QOTMS'.
One of Pau's better drumming songs. Not that any of them are bad, but her unique time keeping and fills and cant forget the attitude and swagger just top notch on this one.
The Warning are masters of the riff and the hook. And regarding rabid fans, I have a clip on my YT channel where Pau is talking about that. Venues ask them "what is UP with your fans?!?"

I love the studio recording of this song but love this live version even more. The Explorer guitar tone is so good and the outro with the guitar instead of piano is awesome
The Warning has been an obsession with me since just before the QOTMS album came out, the album sealed it for me. There's a new band that's captured my obsession now, one I see from your videos you've not reacted to yet. The Sixsters, an all female Rock group of five teen refugees from Ukraine, living in Germany. Like the Warning, every song is different with a scatter gun list influences from Punk to Rock. You really should see these girls.

I’ve been learning this guitar part in the last few days and it’s so fun. Super easy power chords in the original drop d but also with some trickier riffs in between. A wonderfully constructed song. All their frustration with this one clearly paid off.
The Teatro Metropolitan concert recording is actually a compilation of two shows (26-Aug and 29-Aug 2022). If you look carefully some songs are actually pieced together from the two nights (there are some slight discontinuities in the footage, like the sudden appearance of a Dr Simi dollar on Dany's lap during "Revenant"). There is nothing wrong with this, of course, as recording a long-form live video in a single take is really hard.
"Live at Teatro" literally means "live at theater". El Teatro Metropolitan is a major venue here at CDMX (not huge but very important), enough for calling it for its whole name. This is your chance to learn some spanish :)

I've tried to get into The Warning some years ago but the lack of many solo's in their songs has always prevented them being a top band for me- until recently. They have really raised their game with their new material and added some small instrumental breakdowns within great songs. Although this is an old song the whole performance and sound quality was on a different level now. Best album?
