i normally dislike watching knife making videos but this vid is an exception. your insta led me to your website and now 2 here, KEEP UP THE FANTASTIC WORK
@@StarkKnives I'd love to see one with a slightly longer... maybe 5" blade with a more aggressive Wharnie angle geared towards self defense/tactical applications. You make a mean blade man. All your stuff is beautiful.
I haven’t used those steels too much actually. If it’s San Mai it should be the same process though. Maybe with just a slightly tweaking to the heat treat since it would be a different core.
excuse my french but that's a FU****G beautiful knife... well done sir. could you PLEASE make a video of how to make a knife with minimalistic/simpler tools?
@@StarkKnives yes and no. there is no step by step tutorial actually. cutting, grinding, heat treating etc. are things knife makers seldom explain in details since its so obvious to them. once again thank you for all your amazing videos
Amazing knives. I really dig them. I very much appreciate the fully commentary as I am just starting to make knives and this will help refine my process. Quick question. Where do you get your Damascus steel from? Or do you make your own?
Wow stark, that blade came out amazing! I have a question if you don't mind, what brand sandpaper do you use for your handle sanding? And where do you get it from?
@@StarkKnives No worries, I didn't say anything that your work didn't already say for itself, and for you. Thanks for the info on the material. I'll be poking my head in the door to peek over your shoulder from time to time as your videos come out. Be well.
Boom! That is epic!
Thanks!
Excellent project. Fantastic knife.
Thanks!

Thank you for the kind words! This bar of San Mai was from Gambler Custom. :)

Thanks! I use Rhynowet from Texas Farrier Supply. :)
Great work! Is the steel from your own forge, or did you purchase it, and if so from where? Amazing knife! Be well.
Thank you! It is steel from Gambler Custom.

Great job. Please add the templates. hee hee. greetings from Spain
Thanks! 🇪🇸
any chance i can do a video on how to sharpen serrations without like a diamond or ceramic rod (:?
I know a lot of people wrap sandpaper around a dowel with the same width as the serration!
