Went to buy a GEN 2 Predator and I was impressed by the marketing hype and low price all the way until saw and handled the rifle. To say that this is a budget rifle is an understatement. It reeks of cost cutting accountants.
The gen ii is a vast improvement over the gen I, which itself was great. The muzzle brake works very well, recoil on the 6.5 is non-existent and so soft on the 308. Do yourself a favor and adjust the trigger to 3#. My first handloads, no load development, 5 under 3/4 at 100, with 4 at 3/8. Unbelievable for a $600 rifle

After a little looking thats a good $200 mark down from the ones at ruger.
