I just bought all the parts for a similar rifle. MDT Oryx stock in tan, Howa 1500 short action with 24" heavy barrel in 6.5 Creedmoor from Brownells, MDT Oryx bipod, 10 round magazine, Warne rings and mounts, Arken Optics EP-5 7-35x56 scope and caps, EC tuner break. All in $1900. Cant wait to build it and start shooting.

I have the SH4J gen2 and the EP5 7-35x56 and they are good, but I see the value up to around 350-400 meters, but I can see the clarity deteriorate, and it’s no good for hunting there after. Ok for range, but you can see the difference really beyond 250m for sure with an extra 40% of cash on higher quality. Im very happy with the build quality and turrets

The Browning buckmark is absolutely the most acurate and reliable 22 pistol I have shot . The trigger is beautifuly crisp and light, miles ahead of the ruger 22/45. It cycles all ammo and runs dirty without any issues. It is a must have. I have run it suppressed alot with flawless operation.

I like aftermarket Ar triggers but i never felt the need the put one in any of my handguns

I've purchased cvlife bipods and they work just fine. Super stiff springs. Had them for years. Wish they made better picatinny bipods. Hopefully in the future. Them Cadwell walmart deals are junk.

Glock has absolutely nothing on this M&P.

Fluted bull barrel, adjustable cheek riser, takes AICS mags, and somewhat free floated barrel for a factory polymer stock and tang safety all for $580 prob $600 w/taxes is pretty good. Only thing I would check is 90, 70 or 60 degree bolt throw? but overall great bundle price

Doesn't the military use Magpul mags?

Now if they would just eliminate the illumination they could make it even lighter , I'm not a fan of illumination in a scope , some want it some dont.

spoiler alert. Yes it is. Carried a Glock for years on duty. Reliable gun, didn't like the way it felt. Bought a M2.0 compact upon retirement because I could not get my hands on a 19. The M2.0 blew my glock out of the water. Same reliability(as do pretty much all Striker fired guns today) It feels better. The trigger is excellent. I will take my 2.0 any day over my glock

Excellent review. I want to get an Arken EP5 5-25x 56 for long distance but that would be too heavy for hunting. Thanks to your review I now have a hunting option with the LH series. BTW what brand and model is your tripod? Would you recomend it?

It's my first time viewing your channel. Loved your review of the Arken scopes. I almost bought a Primary Arms scope. Thankfully it is out of stock until mid January. I remembered that Rex is big on Arken and started looking for reviews on them. I found many reviews comparing the Arken to Nightforce. That's a pretty high bar to be compared to. Keep up the Great reviews 😊
