    thanks this is great - i've been a graphic designer for many years but getting my first cricut today. I've been wondering how i can use illustrator for as much as i can and wanted to understand how to gang up images and print them on a single page. i was afraid i was going to have to upload them separately and lay them out in design space. One thing i dont understand yet is the 6x9" cutting limitation. all the paper is letter size or 12x12 sheets. I saw someone demonstrate how to get around the size limitation but i didnt really understand. does anyone understand why the small size limitation?

    Fabulous tutorial! thank you! I just got my machine and illustrator so I'm not very good at using either of them yet. I was trying to make name magnets for my work and I'm having a hell of a time trying to get the design exported to the cricut. I didn't know the artwork had to be the maximum size you mention here and I didn't know about the vector paths for the fonts so everything kept getting transferred super wonky. I really appreciate your video!

    This tutorial is the best thing ever! For some reason once I click “make it”, my fonts become blurry and then print out blurry. I was going to try to just print them right from the file after saving from illustrator but then realized I needed the black line so my circuit can register, idk what to do 😫

    Thank you this video helped me a lot, just a beginner here 😊 I do have question I’m trying to print and cut stickers they will be circles with my artwork created in illustrator in that circle I’ve created the offset but when I Cricut cuts the measurements are off so it doesn’t cut where I want it to cut. Not sure if I’m missing a step most probably lol thank you in advance. Hope my question makes sense 🙂

    I love this. Getting my Cricut Air this month and can't wait to start doing all this amazing stuff. If I was to do this, and make stickers, am I allowed to sell them or is it for personal use only. How do you know if it's for personal use or not. I've been watching allot of video's and I can't tell. Please help

    Hello I was wondering if you set illustrator in rgb or cmky?

    • @KarleyHall
      @KarleyHall  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      You’ll want to set it to cmyk since you’ll be printing them :)

    I'm having problems. I have a professional label created in illustrator and when I export it to use in cricut the quality of the image is very compromised once its on my cricut design center.
    I've also tried the route of doing the full sheet cricut hack so i can print my images by PDF then cutting with my cricut but I cant seem to get my file to print correctly even tho its prints to scale.

    • @KarleyHall
      @KarleyHall  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Are you adjusting your printer settings before you print by using the system dialogue option?

    • @Brriitt
      @Brriitt 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@KarleyHall if that’s the options that come up before I save it to pdf for printing then yes.

  • @halis70
    @halis70 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    Okay this may be a silly question, but, how would you do this with clear sticker paper?? I would want the offset cut but I wouldn’t want the white background!

    • @KarleyHall
      @KarleyHall  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes! You would do the exact same thing and even set the colors the same. Since most printers don’t print white, it’ll print nothing and cut around the cloud shape!

    When I do this, the text is always blurry once it gets to cricut design space. How to I make sure that this doesn’t happen in illustrator?

    • @KarleyHall
      @KarleyHall  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Make sure you’re designing on a 6.75 x 9.25 artboard and exporting to PNG. Mine always looks blurry in cricut but pints crisp :)

    Every time I "send to back". only my text comes up and not my image :( I don't know what I'm doing wrong! uhuhuhuh
