I so miss these epic, female country ballads!! Reba, Martina, Trisha, Jodie, Dixie Chicks, Faith, etc had such powerful voices and well written songs. The only one really still doing them is Carrie. There was such an emotional connection that is just lacking today.

I agree i use to live in a small town and when me and my high school sweetheart after 4 1/2 years broke up it hurt every time i ran into him i never told him how i felt but i think he know just from the look in my eyes and my facial expression. yes i love him but i have moved on but it still hurts to run into him when i go back to that town to visit friends and family but i never let those emotions show anymore.
