I like watching all of these ladies on here. I felt for Carol when she was afraid to eat one of the burritos b/c of past experience with food poisoning.😬 She’s brave. I don’t think I would have tried it. 👏I applaud you Carol.
I’ve also gotten food poisoning from that same place 3 times. I also never had a choice in eating there or not 🤷🏽♀️
I know how she felt >_< I got food poisoning from KFC once and couldn't eat there for nearly a year... even just walking past one the smell would make me wanna puke.
I'm with you. The 2 times I have eaten there in my life, both times I got sick. My bf went with me that 2nd time n he had it coming from both ends. Needless to say, we haven't eaten there in over 10 years. I won't even order a soda there.

I agree with Lucy about refried beans, even though im spaniard and not mexican, but I lived enough time in Costa Rica (almost 3 years bc of my job) to try them in a lot of their recipes -yep, IK CR has nothing to see with Mexico, but refried beans are the same-, also I learnt how to make them at home and today is something that I ALWAYS have in my fridge ready to put even in sandwiches!!!

Beans for breakfast are delicious. I spent some time serving with my church in Mexico. The mission we lived at would regularly serve a bean, egg, and rice burrito for breakfast with salsa. It was super good.

I buy my breakfast burritos from Mexican Hote in the Walls. It's not advertised as a Breakfast Burrito. It's just a bean and cheese burrito with salsa verde drizzled inside. And a side of salsa verde. It's humongous. And it's usually just $3.50 in my part of Los Angeles. I get it cut in half and it feeds me and my wife.
