@@JoshsSmartHome The CMos Sensor is bigger so it performs much better in lowlight and also fast movement. The more of Pixel is only usefull at long distance and only at good lighting. But don´t misunderstand me, the CX810 is a good camera, but if you can, test the cx410!
@@JoshsSmartHomeAnd sensor resolution is the exact reason why CX410 performs much better in night conditions. It can absorb more light at night because 1 pixel of sensor is physically bigger.
I’ll have to see if I can try the CX410 some time. I think the CX810 is fantastic in low/no light situations, so the fact that you are saying this is better is crazy.
How do you set the camera that the spotlight only turn on when there is movement? On mine the spotlight is constantly on, only off when there is enough light, or I turn it of manually. Thank you
There are four modes for the CX810: 1) Off 2) Timer Mode 3) Auto Mode 4) Smart Mode. The smart mode only turns on when the camera detects an event. In this mode you can determine the type of event and the times it occurs.
@@JoshsSmartHome Thank You. In my case, with the smart mode, the spotlight is continuously on. Only turns off when there is enough light. I was expecting the same, to turn on only when motion detected. I'm using it with poe switch and power cable.
That should be the proper setting. I would try switching the setting to a different option reboot, switch it back to smart, and reboot. Also, check to ensure that your firmware is up to date. Then, try adjusting sensitivity levels if you still have that experience. If none of those correct the situation, I’d contact customer service for assistance.
I haven’t noticed that. Mine are mounted high, but even when I looked at them when I was installing them and adjusting the cameras, I didn’t have issues with the cameras showing me properly.
Reolink has amazing quality recording 👌 💯
Couldn't agree more! They are my favorite!
You have to consider this camera!

before you lift up, try the CX410!
The CX810 has double the specs for megapixels and resolution, so I’m guessing there is quite a difference. What is your experience?

@@JoshsSmartHome Thank you! I'll try that. 😊
You’re welcome. Hopefully one of these steps resolves your issues with the setting.
It cannot autofocus at close distance.
