Yet another example of my choice to get the Vertuo Plus was the best decision. Hands down the best purchase I’ve made this year, especially considering the things I heard about the Vertuo Next
The best machine around for sure
I think I’ll stay with my VertuoPlus. I’m loving it! Plus I have parosmia due to covid and coffee still doesn’t smell or taste great. However, I make my iced almond milk lattes every single day. Starbucks who?! I love that I can control the sugar and carbs. And it tastes so good!

I was just looking at your original unboxing video of the Creatista Plus. The creama in that video is just as thin as in this video.
Now I understand why you got a regular esspresso machine on your newer videos.. for the price of these nesspresso machines... I want the very best crema.. Since my nespresso doesn't get that hot to me I use it mainly for ice coffee now
I have the Creatista in all Stainless. It definitely depends on the capsule as far as the richness of the crema. But, some OL machines produce more crema as well. I had a Pixie prior and it produced more crema as well.
It wasn’t a big deal for me as I find it too bitter and wind up mixing it in with my frothed milk anyway.
But, it’s a plus to have the VL machine on hand, as with that line there’s crema for days.
Yes agree the vertuo line makes some glorious crema 🤩

It doesn't change the flavor of the coffee supposedly but that's why i was so sad about my Vertuo Next. I gave it to my mom and took back my old Vertuo 2015.
I honestly don't feel like I know enough to care about the crema but I will say you are definitely teaching me something. I haven't paid much attention I only have the vertuo plus that I have and so far so good.
The vertuo line is great with crema I’m sure you won’t have an issue with it 🥰
It might be interesting to take the temperature of each pod brewed. Usually the water heats up a little more with each successive pull. If I want a hot latte, I’ll run it twice on lungo without a pod.
Or maybe the pressure is off. Something does seem wrong. Were there coffee grounds in the cup? It kind of looked like that.
Thank you for this info I’ll have to do this and see if it improves. No coffee grounds found though so that’s good. It was literally the coffee you can see through the bubbles that look like grounds
@@_Alexmojica Maybe Nespresso should try repairing it. It does seem like a manufacturing defect.
Temperature is worth checking, maybe comparing to the Essenzas. But it looks like a pressure problem. Nespresso should be able to check that.
I’ve been wanting that machine but I’m seriously reconsidering it.
There’s different temperature settings on this machine. Have you tried changing the temperature of your brews to see if it makes a difference for you? We just purchased ours and we love our creatista plus. The taste of the brews on the creatista are definitely tastier imo 😋

Uhmmm I just made the extraction hotter and the crema seems a lot better thank you I’ll keep doing this hope it fixes the issue for good!
@@_Alexmojica Glad to hear it helped! It’s seriously worth every penny once you set the settings to your liking. We use ours daily. And I’m sure you’ve discovered this by now, but you can also adjust the temp and foam of your steam wand. 💕
You know I realized that I changed the milk temperature and not the coffee temp. I have no idea how to change the coffee temp. But for some reason it worked. I heard only the pro changes the coffee temp. Please enlighten me if I’m wrong lol
@@_Alexmojica 🤣 wow! Clearly I need new glasses. I just checked and This whole month we’ve had it I legitimately thought I changed the coffee temperature in the settings. It was the damn milk settings. Foot in mouth. 🙈🤦🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️

I was thinking about getting that machine but I noticed that the crema was very weak in videos and the ones that Sam Ozkural had uploaded too. She has the same machine as you do. I think that I’m happy with my older original line & Vertuo Plus machines.
I follow her too, I’ll have to check her videos where she uses it I haven’t paid attention to it. It seems to make excellent crema with a lungo
The reason why I didn't buy this Creatista Plus is that it's made in China. Thanks for sharing your genuine experience.
Now you got me thinking about my machine I haven’t noticed if my make less crema with the different pods🤔 brewing as soon I get home 😉I will let you know.

I have the same machine which I bought in January, I had it about 6 weeks or so and I started having trouble with it heating and frothing the milk. I got in touch with Nespresso and they said they’d pick up it up for repair a week ago and I’m still waiting. I’ve rang them 4 times to see when they’re coming and they finally said they’ll come tomorrow so I’ll wait and see.
That’s weird that they said they’ll go, my friend just has hers replaced with new one after speaking with them
I know someone else that had issues with that machine. Hers was not foaming or heating the milk.

Oh no; so sorry that it doesn't perform as well as their other machines. You are correct to expect more from this machine due to it's high price point. I too would be very disappointed.
Thank you for sharing this information because I was thinking about putting this on my wish list for the future; like 2 years or so because I was recently gifted a Citiz and I am very satisfied. It produces very good crema.

I’ve only tried it once and I wouldn’t know what to compare it to, since it’s stein maybe bianco forte or double espresso scuro?

I bought the latissima one from macys in October and the buttons were stuck so i called. They told me it would take 4-5 weeks to repair. Then i got a call back the next day saying they don’t do repairs on those and that they were willing to send out a creatisa plus at no extra charge which is double the price of mine. I was hesitant because it’s breville not delonghi and now i regret it because the crema is the same as yours !! And my latissma was so creamy and foamy
Keep using the machine, it honestly gets better with time for some reason, I love my machine now
Having the same issue I thought I was going crazy until your videos. Called and they said my heating element is messed up

So I’m having this same issue with my machine. They sent me a replacement of the pro and i still feel like there is literally like no crema. I can completely see through to the espresso. Did you end up finding any hacks? I hate to call them again but super kind of frustrating.
I found that the more I used it the better the crema got, at first I had changed the milk temp but even now that I use it on ideal I feel like the crema is just better after continued use

I’m so sad I didn’t see this video until now :((((( my husband just bought this for us and I’m having the same issue. I was so hesitant on getting this one but it’s so pretty and I shouldn’t got the Vertuo plus.
It could just be this batch of coffee. The beans are different in every batch. The roast comes out different in every batch, etc.
Try using a smaller cup like the Nespresso View ones. That will concentrate the crema more. If the cup is bigger in diameter than the actual coffee brew, the crema will spread and will be thinner!
You did see the cups I used for the mini right? Bigger cups but even then the crema was great
@@_Alexmojica yeah! You’re right. I used to have a mini! Now I have q Latissima touch and it makes better crema than the Creatista 😞 but smaller cups helps! Awesome video, Alex!
I didn’t think anyone needs a $600 pod machine . My essenza plus is great and makes good coffee.
I can understand paying that and more for a proper coffee machine like the large Breville or Delonghi ones with the inbuilt grinders
I like the convenience of the pods. Those machines are not convenient in my opinion. But thank god I didn’t spend 600$ 😉

My pixie produces amazing crema with most pods. Some don’t have as much crema but still very creamy looking.
You’re right to say for a $600 machine you shouldn’t see less quality. I mean crema and espresso just go together.
I’ve been wanting to find a good price on a Creatista like you….. makes me reconsider or at the very least I will not pay full price. I really only want for the frothing want LOL

Would you recommend the creatista plus now that you’ve had it for a bit? I have a vertuo plus and a keurig kcafe. I love iced lattes and use the frother on my kcafe everyday. But i have an aerochino too. Just not sure if i should upgrade.

Alex I have a question for you, if I have coffee pods that expired in September 2021, is the coffee off now? Should I throw these pods out? Please let me know as I am new to brewing my own coffee
I have some that are past the Best Buy date but since it’s considered dry powder substance I don’t mind using them and never noticed anything bad by doing so

Hi Alex! Thanks for the video, i have the creatista plus , i've tried to brew Ferddo intenso as cold coffee, and when it came to froth the milk, i had set to the cool temperature but the milk came hot, i don't know if you have the same issue. thanks.
Just realiZed the machine doesn’t froth cold milk. I believe the warmest setting is 133 degrees Fahrenheit. Steaming milk cold wouldn’t make sense
I decided it’s best for hot drinks and when I want an ice latte I either just pour my milk cold to my espresso or I’ll froth my milk cold with my aeroccino
Alex, thanks very much for your reply, I love the machine, but it's disappointing that the milk frother won't froth the milk cold on the cool settings, and also the crema isn't great either, maybe it's the coffee, such an expensive machine I have the Nespresso Pixie with the aeroccino but I wanted an upgrade, but I am keeping the creatista anyways, so if I want an iced latte i'll froth the milk cold on my aeroccino. I’ve noticed that different machines give different crema. The original lines tend to give less crema in my opinion. And then again the way that machine works is probably not same as a mini
Crema is important for latte art, this machine is made for latte art. I’m aware the mini and this work differently but for a machine to be made for latte art and produce mediocre crema is not cool

No they are not, I would never ask for a refund for that same reason. I feel comfortable using their warranty but a refund is a different story. Wouldn’t be fair

Hi Alex I am totally blind and I have written to you before I know you are using a different machine and the one I have I have the virtual plus do you still have this machine and if you do are you having the same problem with it just curious because I’ve never thought to have any of my family members to look to see if you can see through the Crema with that machine hope to hear from you and again I know it’s not the same machine that you have and are in boxing there sorry to hear you’re having such trouble that’s really not good at all
The vertuo plus has not given any issues. The crema is delightful with the vertuo plus

OK Alex I'm gonna pray for your will power I say the exact same thing about bath and body works 🤣 and then they go and create a snicker doodle body care line thats new comming. Even I can't hold out on the Nesspresso new releases at least some of them catch my eye. I'm still more of a tea drinker at heart but I do love the coffee's that I tried and that you talk about.

Here is a video of another TH-camr who made an unboxing of the Creatista Plus and compared the taste of a couple of capsules against the Essenza Mini. Seems like the results in terms of crema are comparable with yours.
