I have just bought this machine and I'm loving it. Some very good deals on ebay at the moment. I've had the original Creatista before, as well as prosumer machines with seperate grinders (pity I cannnot tolerate the 18g shot anymore, so that had to go) and bean to cup. My Jura still stands next to this creatista pro, best of both worlds for me. I admit I'm a bit coffee obsessed and so far this Creatista is just perfect, even though it is creating way too much froth on the milk, I had to change settings for all the milk options, flat white is right on the first level, depending on the milk I'm usually able to produce some latte art on that setting.

Great to hear you like the machine, we still love it too and use it several times a day 😅 I did have a play around with a bean to cup machine once but struggled to get a consistently good espresso, definitely something I want to revisit in the future. I would imagine the the Water dispenser, the dual thermo block and the ability to save own recipes (don‘t know how many are possible) does make a big difference. However the controlling of the water output in the upper right corner seems to be a bit tricky
Thanks, glad you liked it. Yes that was a small button in the top right corner but once you know where to press it's not too bad. One other thing I didn't mention is that it has an americano setting too.
I'm going to buy this coffee machine tomorrow. I've also the Creaista Plus. Here in Austria, the Pro Version costs 799 Euros in the Nespresso Store. What I like is, at the Nespresso Store, the employees are taking care for their customers. Today at the Nespresso Store a young employer says to me friendly May I help you. The softness and the hardness of the water does help with the taste of the espresso. Softer water brings out the taste elements of the espresso more, while harder water brings out more acidity. Loving your videos by the way.
Thanks for that and cheers for the info, was wondering if it affected the taste. I was wondering too if the machine did anything to compensate for the water hardness of your area but think it's probably more wanting to let you know how often to descale. Harder the water the more often it needs descaling I guess.
I have literally been watching all of your video reviews since yesterday. I’m looking to buy a nespresso and these have been extremely helpful! I can’t help but feel a little overwhelmed and also like I may miss out if I don’t get this one or that one LOL
Thanks, glad you like them. Yeah there has been a lot of Nespresso deals in the UK recently, which has led to me buying more machines than intended 😅 To be honest the cheaper original machines are still good and will be suitable for most people, I don't think I'd have ever bought a creatista if it wasn't for making these videos because of the price. That being said the creatistas really are on another level (the froth is so nice, the machines are easy to use and clean and the coffee is really hot) and on the half price offer they're a good price for what you get I think. Don't feel like I'm helping here but think it just depends on how much you want to pay in the end. Do keep in mind that you don't have to buy a seperate milk frother with a creatista, so you save £50 there if you're looking at the aeroccino 3. I think my wife would tell me to make a list of the things I want from the machine and see which one ticks the most boxes, she's all for the lists 😂

Hi there, thanks for that. The atelier is certainly one I'd like to try as a couple of people have mentioned it but I've bought quite a few machines recently, so might need to get rid of one or two of those first 😂 Quickly running out of storage/budget 😅 So it might be a while yet to be honest. Will certainly do my best though, especially if an offer pops up on it.

Do you mind me asking by the way if what happened with the steam wand self purge looked normal to you from your experience with the machine? Wondering if mine has a slight problem as I've tried wiping the wand down before it purges too and still seems to spit quite a bit of liquid around when purging. Hope you don't mind me asking.
A2B Productions yea I think it’s normal for it to spit a little I always wipe it first before I put it down so there is no milk on it , I’ll take more notice when I use it today
Thanks for the feedback. I was playing around with both machines yesterday and not sure it is a fault actually, as the plus does do it a bit but just to a lesser extent. But would be great to hear what you notice today. Thanks again!
A2B Productions I did take notice it seem to spit more than the other but I think it’s because it has to heat up pump things so it makes it stronger .
Great video man! Have you tried the Nespresso Expert? I’m really interested in that machine for the different cup sizes, water temperature function and the Bluetooth connectivity... would love to hear your opinion about that machine if you tried that before!

What a surprise to see you have purchased the Pro 😆. I think if you wipe the steam wand before you let it purge that should make clean up easier as the purging hot water is probably what's baking the milk residue on to it. Look forward to the full review and comparison. I'm still loving my Vertuo, but still procrastinating on whether to get the Pro, especially as I already have a bean to cup machine that has a perfectly capable steam wand 🤨
Haha, yeah I couldn't not give it a try at that price. I think you are supposed to wipe the steam wand down before letting it purge like you say but that doesn't seem to have fixed it sadly. Been on the phone to Nespresso today and dismantled/cleaned the end of the wand with the cleaning tool they give you but still no joy. Didn't have the issue with the Plus so wondering if it's just a fault. Will give it a day or two and see if it resolves itself. Going to have to research these bean to cup machines as they keep popping up in the comments.
A2B Productions How interesting about the steam wand, I would have thought they were the same, so maybe there is a fault. The bean to cup is great but there is more clean up involved with the brewer etc. The great thing with the Plus/Pro wand is that you don’t have to hold the jug all the time whilst steaming and clean up is minimal.
Again a very good job and also a very good camera-work in showing details.
I think the messy rinsing of the steam wand is from not cleaning the outside, before releasing it to park position.
Will pass that on to the camera lady 👍 Yeah it did seem like we should be cleaning the wand before letting it purge but that didn't solve it sadly. Have dismantled and cleaned the wand today with Nespresso on the phone but seems it may be a fault with the machine as it's still doing it. Haven't had any issue like that with the Creatista Plus so guessing it's a fault. Will see if it fixes itself but may need to return/exchange it if not.
Hi There! I live in the US and the Pro is not available here duo to the standard US home outlet not supporting 2300 Volts that the Pro requires... I am a Creatista Plus owner but I was obsessed with the Pro to the point that I imported one from Lithuania through an eBay seller.. I had to buy a 5000V power converter box which cost me an extra $200 in order to make it work here. The Creatista Pro and the converter box ended up costing me US$1000! I really wanted it!! So the point of my comment was the milk splashing from the steam wand on the Pro that you experienced ... unfortunately I experienced the same thing!! Your machine is not faulty, somehow it’s just a flaw of the Pro!!! My Creatista Plus never done it. I now got used to it but what bothers me the most is that the Pro makes much less milk foam in comparison to the Plus. The Pro foam is a super micro foam even on the high foam set. I was a bit disappointed cuz it kinda ruins my Latte art. Other than that it’s a fantastic machine. I don’t wanna go back to the Plus but the Pro has its flaws. Hey Vinny, cheers for taking the time to leave this comment. Agree with everything you said here mate. I was having a play around with both machines yesterday and as you say, I'm not sure it is a fault now. I'd never noticed it on the Creatista Plus either but when I went looking for it, I did see that the Creatista Plus does spit a little bit but nowhere near as much as the Creatista Pro. Know this sounds a bit pedantic but think it might be that the steam wand looks slightly thicker and also seems to sit slightly higher away from the drip tray than the Plus one does. I've also noticed a slight difference in the foam texture too but thought I might be imagining it, so good to know it's not just me 😅 (I can't do latte art so couldn't test it that way). Agree again though that it's a great machine, touch screen is great and there's just that bit more room to move around on the machine too isn't there. Heard there may be a US Creatista Pro release date of September 2020. Is that what you've heard? Cheers again!
Sweet! Thanks for your reply as well! It does make sense that the wand is bigger and higher. About a US release, I did read a comment somewhere that Breville (Sage in Europe) would be aiming to release the Pro in the US in 2020 but I have my doubts specially now with the Pandemic but will see. I hope I don’t have to buy a new one!! Hahaha I forgot to say that your review was GREAT and very helpful! I wanna make a review video myself too since there are no American ones of the Pro. Great video, are you able to use non Nespresso capsules for the Pro machine?
You can as long as they’re for OriginalLine machines but be careful as I’ve heard some of the pods might damage the machine. I personally don’t let plastic pods near my Creatista pro machine but have taken the risk with L’or and Starbucks (especially as Starbucks are made by Nespresso anyway)

Haha you did call it didn't you 😃 It was one of those I've started so I'll finish purchases I think. Been on a real journey learning about all these machines so couldn't not get the top of the range at half price. Looking forward to playing about with the pro a bit more.
@@A2BProductions Do you actually drink a lot of coffee ?. I drink far to much and since getting the virtuso and aerochino 4 i have not touched my other machine. Such a lovely combo. the only benefit i can see having an original machine is 3rd party capsuals.
In general I try to stick to a couple a day, but the days I do the videos it proves a tough rule to stick to 😅 I rarely use my Vertuo machine now to be honest. My wife uses it more but since having the Barista and now Creatista, she's been heading more for the original capsules too as she finds the milk froth more drinkable now. Which are your favourite Vertuo pods? Have found some really nice 3rd party pods doing these vids. Like the Illy ones we reviewed and the l'or onyx. My wife and I both liked the Halo pacamara too (they were very different).
Mark Edwards we also have both systems, the Vertuo for the bigger coffee or for take away in the garden. For Espresso instead we don‘t really like the Vertuo that much. The Espresso and a standard Capuccino or Flat White is far better from the Original Capsules.... for our taste. And we have a two Essenza mini side by side to make two drinks at the same time. A few years ago we had the double citiz. Unfortunately this machine does not work a long time.
Do you have any updates on this machine? is the milk frother still working? I got a bit traumatized from my Gran Latissima milk frother.
yeah I’ve heard the Lattissimas can tend to malfunction over time. So far so good with my pro but I’ve only had it a few months. Best to buy on the basis of the warranty length given I guess.
Hi , i just bought creatista pro, i was using citiz with aerrocino 4 earlier, i made a first coffee today using Arpergio capsule which has 9 intensity and it tasted quite strong in citiz but in creatista pro , coffee tasted so weak amd watery, does water hardness level has to do something with this issue ? Pls advise how can i get a strong coffee from my creatista pro ? Thanks in advance 🙏

@@A2BProductions i took an espresso shot from creatista pro and did milk in aerrocino 4 , it tasted as good it is use to be when i was using citiz and aerrocino 4 combo but when i do milk in pro with steam wand, it makes coffee weak so espresso shot i am not sure is weak itself as i hardly drinks espresso. I used black pod ispirazione which is quite strong itself but still coffee tastes watery and weak.
Potable water just means drinkable water 👍🏻 I work in the mines...

So I just got the Creatista Pro. I've watched a lot of your videos and they are great and helped me decide to get it. But...I'm not entirely happy with it at the moment. I've had it for one day and have made a bunch of stuff (cap, latte, americano, flat white, etc) and they all taste weak. I love the machine and it is easy to use, but for whatever reason the coffee tastes weak. I used the regular settings for all of these cups. I use to have the Nespresso Expert and the coffee tastes stronger. Did you ever have an issue with weak tasting cups? Does the machine need a few days to break in? Let me know what you think if you can. Thanks!
Hi 👋 Have you managed to find a solution to the issue? I tend to use 2 shots for a latte etc but can get away with one if using a higher intensity pod, especially in a cappuccino. Be great to hear how you’ve got on 😊
@@A2BProductions Thanks for the reply. I do use 2 shots, both for Lattes and Cappuccino. Still tastes weak and now I'm getting concerned. There is a little bit of water in the tray where the pods get dispensed. Maybe a tablespoon (15 ml) when the tray is mostly full with pods. Do you ever see water in that tray?
Hi again. I do see it sometimes but only usually when I’m using compatible pods from supermarkets and the like. Don’t usually when using genuine Nespresso pods (or Starbucks with them being made by Nespresso too) Hope this helps

Seems like for a cappuccino, the minimum level requirement on milk means you're forced to waste a bit every time, is that right?

Glad you liked it. It’s not on the UK Nespresso website at the moment. The deal has been on a couple of times, though, so might be worth checking the Nespresso site now and then in case it comes back.
Seems you have to touch the screen just right for it to register your touch…I hope it’s easier than that as it seems you had to touch it several times, which would become tedious
Do Nespresso do this half price thing often?
I've not seen it again I'm afraid, think they may have done it to offload stock during lockdown but not 100% sure.
