- Sometimes we find printing items online and want to see who they’d turn out in our print shop at the Sacramento History Museum.
This large linocut was recently acquired and Jared wanted to see how letterpress printing it would turn out, especially for some personal holiday cards. The print is of Snoopy, Woodstock, and a Christmas tree.
This was printed using a 4x6 Golding Official No. 2 tabletop printing press. Fifty prints were printed on this press run using opaque white rubber base ink.

Love your Snoopy card. At one point we, me and kids, were short of money.I think I alloted $5.00 ... My girls brought home a tree we called our Snoopy tree
😊😅😅😅 sweet little tree 🌳
So cute!
I THINK ITS COVERED NOW
ITS COVERED
DEAR GOD HOW MANY TIMES
as someone with ocd, that part felt all too familiar to my daily life😭
The ink wasn’t evenly covered on the rollers and ink disk until I stopped.
@@SacramentoHistoryMuseum leave it to the professionals, right? ❤😊
i just realized i wasnt looking at the right thing and that that was just the palette more or less but when you dont know that its painful xD
Oh my gosh, i love the white ink on the green paper! Very unique!
Can you do a video of the cleaning process
We have a playlist of cleaning videos on our TH-cam channel.

Can you use all your cuts on any of the presses or does it matter which cuts go with which machines?
I love it.
I like the white ink…
