I feel like winterizing in these zones takes more time than re opening the garden in the spring. Def a lot of work. Without it you risk damage to infrastructure. The family works hard all season - so admirable
Another beautiful harvest! It’s hard to believe that winter weather is here. I’m in NY we got our first frost and first snow last night. Then the sun came out and it suppose to stay in the mid 50’s into next week. So hopefully your weather is similar to ours and you will still be able to harvest more of your vegetables. It’s just so hard to see it come to an end. Great video!
Hello Logan! We had severe frost here last night but no problem for my late producing mini peppers and eggplant. A few days ago I dug up all of them and potted them in the solarium. 🤣🤣🤣 They’re looking pretty good on the growing shelves especially the hand size eggplants! 🤭 Hopefully next year will be a more normal weather for growing veggies. Loved your zucchini…Take care…👋🏻👋🏻👋🏻
Hey Logan, Another great harvest video. Even though harvest is getting to the end, it still looks great. I remember grinding feed like that when I lived home on the dairy farm. Wonderful seasonal video. Hello to everyone!
As to your green tomatoes ripening. Where I live in Saskatchewan Canada, we have an extremely short growing season. We pick most of our tomatoes green and have no problem ripening in the house. I place mine in boxes and cover with newspaper or put in paper bags. They ripen nicely that way.
@daveklein2826 I sure do. When I harvested this year, there were 7 ripe tomatoes. The gophers ate them! Everything else was taken off green and let ripen in house. I canned 27 quarts of sauce. 67 quarts of canned tomatoes. 49 pints of salsa. I still have 3 quart bags of sauce in the freezer to be canned.
Hi Logan, good looking yellow beans. 👍 Logan, do you keep track of last harvest by years in your records? Would be interesting to know your last harvest before Winter. 🙂 You still have good looking veggies and the dill looks fantastic so late. Hi to Mom, Dad and Frank in this one.
Hello Logan and family I am so sorry I haven't been able to watch anyone's videos I been in the hospital for days and I just got home today at 7.30pm but I still have a long way to go great video as always please pray for me
Is the biodegradable plastic cost competitive? Could you roll IT up after the season like the conventional kind, then make a compost heap somewhere out of the way? At least that way, fewer fossil fuels are used, if that is one of your goals. I'm sure you know this: the various grains go by the magnet, then into a hammer-mill grinder, before going into the tub/tank and getting mixed. It's a grinder/mixer combo machine. If anything gets ground in the tank, it's incidental. Like I said I'm sure you knew that! But maybe a viewer might not. Thanks for the great video Logan!
Hey Logan get as much as you can. We are getting back up to the upper 80's this week. You had a great dill harvest this year. Do you hunt on your land for deer? Our season started and we are going this weekend to bag a Wite Tail. We will two per year, some wild turkey, duck and maybe a small wild boar. Need to fill the freezers. _lease show how you mow and plow everything in. Stay warm and God Bless!
Wow you still have such beautiful weather down there! We do hunt on our land, just haven’t been out yet this year. But wow that sounds fun! Never been to Texas hunting before love to see the difference! God bless & good luck hunting!
Hey Logan, dont know if I missed it but did you plant your garlic yet? I know I asked you in the spring and you kindly told me but honestly I forgot ...what is the variety of garlic you plant? Thank you.
We have not yet but there will be a video soon within the next week/or two. I will explain the process, and everything to go with it! We plant German white, and Italian purple garlic. Keep an eye out for our garlic planting video! Thanks for watching 😃
Keep teaching us Logan! Love it and thanks!

Love your site….informative and educational…..does your farm donate blemished vegetables to food banks/ kitchens to feed the less fortunate?
Nothing like hard work

To bad there wasn't a place you could donate the food it's good for people who have pigs.. great video ❤
It's even better to be left in the field and composted into the soil to make the soil better for next year
@@daveklein2826 that's true too

Sometimes in my space I wish it would rain more so I could wear my super duper vibrant yellow rain coat. How silly. No brown slicker garb action.
Hi, no corn maze or pumpkin patch this year?
We have our pumpkin patch just not for people to come into. The corn maze did not happen this year
👍👌❤🇨🇦,
