Just finished watching this video. The biggest thing that stood out for me was ‘I now know the truth and I live the truth’.
I am a 75 year old widow and all that has happened in my life has led me to a life being content and loving life and life more abundantly and still keep learning and growing as every day is a new day.
What I learned today from your words is do not waste my energy on picking up my phone first thing when I wake up. Now I know how my energy gets a drained. Another truth that I now have learned to live. I am excited to get started on that one. Thank you Mel. I am looking at this as tapping into more of our God given truths that was hidden by these lies. Once again…Thank you.

omg! I feel great now! I will explain in a few
I watched this video yesterday and as I now saw in one comment, your words go like nails to the head of your audience and you have such a power in your voice that make people ashamed of not listening to the to their very core. so, today I didn’t reach out to my phone first thing in the morning. actually avoided it for almost 2.5 hours. and i kept suppressing any negative thoughts about me and my productivity and my potentials and replacing them with good things about myself. as a result, i was super productive, i felt amazing for the whole day and i feel much lighter than yesterday. i actually wanna watch it again. i am so excited that i can’t even write correctly

Hi Mel, You have "hit the nail on the head." Thank you Mel! Negative thinking is a lie, and so destructive. It is nonsense, don't believe it. Feeling like a failure is as an opportunity for personal growth and change. Life is a journey, and it is difficult for everyone. Believe in yourself, and take time to understand what it is that you want to achieve. Be true to who you are.

100%! I always tell my life coaches: if there's a script in your head that is anything less that unconditional self-love, it's a programmed lie.

Thank you Mel. As someone who’s known about the power of positive words, I’ve somehow found myself in a negative thinking rut because of how comforting it can be to just “call it like it is” and this changed me back to controlling my speech again carefully. It’s incredibly dangerous to not be careful with your words and thoughts. I’m back on it again and it’s thanks to this video!

@@meghan42 Still the longest thing you ever did. If you keep calling life short, it’ll become short. In truth, life is whatever you call it as. If you call it long, it’ll start to feel VERY long. It’s all perspective, be careful which perspective you choose. We all want to observe and report because it alleviates responsibility and that’s comforting in a strange way but you’re limiting yourself by calling it short. Take a chance, say life is LONG. It’ll strangely give you more time to do whatever it is you wanna do.

Our words are our wands - it has taken me time to really shift my thought patterns and how I speak about myself and others, but the results have been astounding. non stop joy. its so liberating to know we are in control of our lives simply by the words we speak!

It’s true. I was giving myself hell for a little bit last night for going back to my 5% nicotine vape and not being ready to quit. Totally disregarding that I’ve quick cold turkey smoking weed, reduced caffeine intake, started waking up before the sun comes up and successfully battling anorexia. I’ve made some huge changes in a short amount of time and trying to stop nicotine while I’m “wildly hormonal” wasn’t the right time. So I knocked it off. Remembered that I wouldn’t be so cruel to a friend if they were in my position. Give yourself grace.

I fully agree with the content and the message it is convening. However, there is a wall I keep hitting. Call it a wall, barrier or gate that people hold. You need to convince them when you have no tangible power or no important connections at all. So, the question becomes: How to convince people to work with you, to do business with you, to give you a chance when you have no power? I think that's where the rubber meets the road.

This is a bit challenging when you are no longer working and your career was a major part of who you are and when you stop working we loose a part of our identity and would like more articles for this stage in life

Reframe the words, reshape the mind.
It’s liberating to have had such a powerful career that you owned and committed to with all your being. What makes this new chapter even more exciting, is the fact you have a blank canvas- to do/ achieve anything you put your mind to. What do you want? Define it. How bad do you want it? Define it. And break down the steps to get there. Bit by bit…. Through this process, clarity comes. Follow your passion and lean into your strengths 💪

Thank you, Mel. I know I do this but what do you do when there is a medical issue that makes some of the bad thoughts true? As a woman who has the strong end of the ADHD spectrum, my limiting beliefs often come from my very real adhd challenges. I dream having my own business, but I don't believe I can because of the mess my mind is always in. I know there are successful adhd business people like you, but then it's a spectrum, and maybe your challenges are different than mine. My financial situation limits getting help for this, so I'm on my own. Any advice?

I love how you end your letters…- in case nobody else tells you today, let me be the first to say that I love you and I believe in you and you're ability to create a better life. ❤️
But there’s a typo. You’re instead of your. Much love.

37:00 and waking up and using technology. What if your work is related to technology? Get up in the morning and check social media to see what your contemporaries, competitors, customers are posting and paying attention to and what you need to post to influence people to be interested in your product? Not everyone is on social media by choice to be entertained. Is it this a simple case of delaying gratification and working before playing?

What about being neurodivergent? My brain developed different. How do I think my brain different? Been trying to do it for 20 years and it hasn’t changed. I can change the thoughts about being neurodivergent…..

No thanks. As long as I am i control over it and it is not in control over me, I am fine. My phone saved my life and helped me to combat attacks from influencers.
    Again, I do not consent
