❤❤❤ I remember my momma used to make this dish using fresh corn…I think I can smell it. Char is my absolute favorite even on smothered cabbage..mannnn!
@@AllWingsEverything I made this for Christmas dinner. I got the turkey bacon really crispy. It was absolutely delicious 😋👍🏻A real winner, will make this again 🤗ty
I have to admit that I found a recipe on Pinterest for Southern Fried Corn. There's a huge difference between yours and the other one. You actually put the bacon in with the corn whereas the other didn't. It had everything just cooked in bacon grease. Plus also the other recipe added a can of drained Rotel. When I go to make corn, I'm definitely using your recipe. It just looks better.
That really looks delicious!! I’m definitely making this for the weekend. I can almost taste 👅 it. Now we get a lil head shake along with quality control, telling us how good it taste 😂😂😂!
NICE!! That dish has SO many possible variables! The first one that I thought of was adding diced Jalapenos, Red Bell Peppers for a nice color contrast along with the salt/pepper with a little butter. No Bacon. It's my version of what was called Mexi-Corn, out here in Colorado. Keep 'em comin'!!!
@@AllWingsEverything Ha-ha! I hear you. What is the Christmas, 'Spread' going to be? I'm not a big Turkey or Ham, fan so I plan to go with a Roasted Chicken with Dressing and perhaps some Baked Mac n Cheese on the side.
Aha, more corn recipes, Yes!!!!! This one would be good with turkey bacon too. I found that baking turkey bacon on a foil lined cookie sheet with some olive oil drizzled on the pan makes it crispiest. Then add a slight drizzle of maple syrup on the bacon. Then bake. This is a great recipe for canned corn. I like it better because it's sweeter. I must try this one 😊 ty 🌽😋
I thought you would enjoy this one. I'm not a huge fan 😞 f turkey bacon but will eat it from time to time. I will try it the way you mentioned next time.
@@AllWingsEverything My Mother's family is N. European. We grew up on pork and potatoes. I really miss bacon and BBQ spare ribs 😪there I said it! I knew it was going to be good when I saw you melting butter in bacon fat. That char is everything and I can taste it through my laptop. Impressive chopping skills, too. (I make a pasta sauce that’s basically this recipe with chopped tomatoes, crushed hot pepper, heavy cream and Parmesan. You might try it.)
Is that fresh corn cut from the cob or canned corn? I’m sorry. I missed that part😂 but this looks delicious! I’m making it today with some good ole fried chicken😊
@@AllWingsEverything I don't doubt it. I'm from and currently live in Louisiana. It's just new to me. I'ma give it a try this weekend as a side to some smothered chops.

They were being creative with the Rotel. Adding dice tomatoes to corn is going in the direction of Succotash not Fried corn
