Back on board Crosstown Rebel off­shoot Rebellion since his massive ‘Two Days In The Sky EP’ was released on the label late last year, LA based producer DAVI returns to deliver ‘The Gates of Babylon’. Never restricted by the boundaries of genre, the title track is highly mystifying as it resonates a distinct middle eastern tone through the infectious melody and layered atmosphere. The release also features the stunning ‘Eclipse’ which follows suit taking you on a deep melodic journey, filled with warm tones, vibrant strings and a solid bassline.

I like the drawing having been taken - Ripley and her new child waiting for their space taxi to pick them up - while the alien is hunting them ... Alien 2 - great movie ....and great music in here by the way ... ;-) Is this really based on the former 'gates of babylon' once performed in the seventies by ritchie blackmore´s rainbow ??
