I have listened/watched this over 50 times now! 6 months ago I finally decided that my time using heroin has come to an end. I was at a gram a day for years and the detox was hell, I couldn't watch movies or even listen to my fav tunes for the first two days. just miserable then I found this on the third day and it changed me, moved me, brought me to tears. I had the privileg to go to Burning Man in 2010 and it was the most incredible, life-changing, beautiful, fun, interesting, and it really motivated me to one day be back there with a camp of my own. Agree with you guys. Hard to put words into it but 2018 set grabs me stronger. Spaciousness, freedom, flow, pure and mystical, less naked butts in your face (not that I have anything against it). But you get the point 🤍

He’s got a kinda unique style but it’s very reminiscent of early UNDERWORLD, see ‘dubnobasswithmyheadman’ or look up ‘skyscraper I love you ‘ - trippy electro- techno beats , guitars, samples .. if this is the same monolink , this guys been around since the 90s, but I believe he had a harder techno sound back then

His set is predefined with Ableton or something there is no mixing tracks involved in here, it doesn't change the performance but technically his sounds are introduced one after another by a computer; still great sound clearly and he s very creative,

The first Woodstock was great, done with a lot of heart. But the last Woodstock was a disaster with so much capitalistic intent. BM too was started with ideas to have fun and experiment away from the societal norm, and eventually they barred the creative people by raising the ticket price, and more yuppies that used to shun BM showed up with their snooty attitudes. It's hard for cool counter culture moments to keep its original vision in tact, once it opens up to the masses.

The first Woodstock was great, done with a lot of heart. But the last Woodstock was a disaster with so much capitalistic intent. BM too was started with ideas to have fun and experiment away from the societal norm, and eventually they barred the creative people by raising the ticket price, and more yuppies that used to shun BM showed up with their snooty attitudes. It's hard for cool counter culture moments to keep its original vision in tact, once it opens up to the masses.

The bliss and ecstasy I felt dancing on the playa to sets like this for hours on end is palpable when I watch this, even though it was nearly 20 years ago. There was no place like Burning Man.
