4/28/2018 Update: I added a whole bunch more blocks to the download link (652 more), a ZXP version of the extension (compatible with newer versions of Flash/Animate), and a Read Me file with in-depth instructions. It's a ZIP file so you need to right click it and hit "Extract All..."

Literally just the other day I was trying to figure out how to do this. I was at first using SAI in order to create backgrounds with different blocks I imported from a texture pack sheet. The problem was the amount of lag it caused. Can't tell you how happy I am that you made this. Cheers!

If anyone is wondering how to find that file on a Mac here is how: Find the Terminal app open it and type "defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles TRUE" then open finder and press command&comma to open the preferences. Select the tab labeled "Sidebar" and check the box with your Mac's account name on it. This is the setup complete. If you want to open this folder again just repeat the following steps. Open finder and on the left-hand sidebar click on your username you should see a grey folder with the name "Library" click on this. Now click on a folder called "Application Support" select the adobe flash animation app and then follow the steps in the video.

I'm not exactly sure. I went and tried to install the file to see what would happen but it only has a message saying that it requires Flash version 6 or greater. It may be due to the file being just a converted version of the original file in the video description or that the file is installed already. What's weird for me is that no extension names show up in the manager despite the extension being in function. I'll see if I can look into fixing the issue.
I quickly looked around and found an alternate method to install the extension. First, you have to download this ZIP: goo.gl/EKqbD7 Unzip it and open up the File Explorer and go to C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\Adobe\Animate CC 2017\en_US\Configuration\Tools. Copy all the contents from the ZIP to that destination. Open up Adobe Animate and the tools should be in the toolbar. If there are any problems, I'll see what I can do to fix them.

Question: Need Help...
I've made my Minecraft blocks look 3D by adding two skewed versions of the block above and to one side of a square image, Like what you've done with the spinning block in the opening title for Animation vs Minecraft. I then swap the bitmap Minecraft texture for each of the 3 sides to my image to turn a stone block into a dirt block or whatever.
My problem is that I can't select multiple bitmaps for the blocks and swap them, I can only swap one at a time (Even if I try to swap 3 of the same wood texture for 3 of the same stone textures)
Is there a plugin, add-on or different technique to speed up the process of swapping each side of multiple blocks individually?
I can't find the customize tool panel. Can someone help?

+AlanBeckerTutorials Windows 10 is supported by everything now, but its hard to make the change from 7. I had 8 so when i heard they fixed start i upgraded ASAP. But 7 is still supported and works wonderful. I suggest u keep 7 until it becomes "unsupported"

For some reason when I add the extension, it doesn't let me tick box it so it doesn't appear in Flash. I have Flash CS6 and Adobe Extension Manager CS6 so I don't know what's wrong... :/

What exactly is your reason for not using Animate CC? The new painting settings and tools are pretty great (like an option to make the brush scale with you when you zoom in)

@@censoredvideos9373 That option can actually be found still in the toolbar, signified as three little dots. That will open up a menu to customize your tool panel.
Due to flash's update to "Animate CC" do you still use flash or do you use animate now?
He now uses Animate and he updated to Windows 10 (Due to the requeriments of the program)

Alan Becker I use macro media flash 2004 and when I use the pixel freehand tool it won’t get any larger than size 10 and when I try to paint with the pixels it just makes hundreds of tiny textures of the block texture

@Baxtergaming 12 I have a cool story about this: I was so in love with his outro music that I ended up emailing him asking him what it was. He actually emailed me back like right after, told me that it was something he whipped up in GarageBand, and sent me the full song. It was very nice and cool of him to do that, figured I'd share that with ya.
