I don't really have the equipment to animate. It's also kinda intimidating to see all the programs that every person uses, with each of them saying "this one is the best."
I also don't have a touch pad to draw on, which I'd love to have. I am pretty good with a mouse on ms paint lol, but then again it's not GOOD at all.

I feel like you should get Keyframe Caddy. It allows you to see all your frames on a separate window, and you can select the frame you want. Using the scroll wheel can get annoying, especially if you have tons of frames in a single symbol.

I don't think there's a way in Flash, but in Animate you go to Edit > Preferences > General > User Interface

Why would you make Windows 10 look like Windows 7? Both 8 or 10 look way better than 7. The only reason some people like 7 more is because it's more stable.
windows 8 is terrible in my opinion, and some people HATE the borders in windows 10, there's themes to fix things like that.

alan becker do tutorial about how to put stickman and move them on the phone please
its not much different than doing any other stick figure animation. you take screenshots of your phone, put it into a flash document at the same aspect ratio, trace over the various parts of the screenshot in which would be interacted with, then animate the stick figure interacting with them.

Hi Alan. i have just started to learn flash macromedia pro 8. i tried to do the beating heart and did the exact steps as you explained here. i ended up getting a heart that slowly shrinks and doesn't beat naturally like the one you made. i have been at it for hours..
1)draw heart and paint it
2)select it, f8 and create symbol. i named it heart.
3) double click and f8 again to create it into a symbol.
4) hit f5 on timeline for frames, all the way and at the end of the frame, i hit f6.
5)Q to free transform, i shrunk it like you did.
6) right click on the time line, create motion tween( i discovered later that it is the same as classic tween)
7) clicked away.
my result was that it slowly shrunk instead of fast beating like you did. was it because of the action of shrinking that i performed? omg that is it isn't it? i'm going to do some more of this. please reply. thank you

I used to make flash games and I hated that people said "flash sucks" and killed it without presenting an option that could even barely remotely replace it.
