More passive mobs should have a "sleeping" state like the foxes, it would make them look so cute
yup and if you make a mob farm you'd have to deal with watching them sleep to death :(
I think they need to update the alpha version mobs because they don't have a proper ai and they are coded like at the beginning of the game

Compared to most games today, they aren't that missleading.

5:00 Well, the new Rethinking Voxels shader pack is _really_ good with accurate shadows. Seriously, a light source behind a fence will produce an accurate fence shadow onto the floor. You should try it, it looks just like what they used in Minecraft Dungeons.

It turns out God is actually a green axolotl and it is forbidden to reveal it's identity or mock it's true form in any fashion. One of Mojang's artists got vaporized by green lighting after making the texture.

3:18 not only that but the trailer also shows that minecarts can be linked together to form trains, which is also something you can't even do in the base game.
Speaking of that am I only one who thinks minecarts/rails are long overdue for an update. I would like some new features/improvements that could improve their reliability and functionality.
@Mysterm that is true but I would like the ability to connect minecarts together using either chains/leads and then connect to a furnace minecart to make a functional train. What would also be nice to have are new ways to speed up minecarts without having to place rails in special formations.
I would love a new minecart and rail system. Idk why it didn't come with the caves update, even as a small clutch of stuff.

The upgrade templates are a bit annoying, but I think it's worth it as we got armor trims along with them, which are probably one of my most favorite decorative items in the game right now.
Relax skip, element animations already pointed out everything wrong with their trailers.
Why can’t Minecraft look as good as the trailers
Skeletons sometimes pickup my swords and get a major speed boost and they run towards me. When I saw that for the first time I was flabbergasted
Admittedly the cleric is also known for dishing out redstone dust...so yeah, still a reasonable assumption of bluestone dust.
That was a rendering error
I feel like Mojang really wants to polish the game in major ways but is, rightfully, too scared to. I guess Dungeons and Legends are their experimentation.

Its important to remember that minecraft is a low-spec game and designed globally for a younger audience. There's only so much you could do to a game before device support becomes an issue.

The bare bones pack isn't a recreation of the trailers, the trailers use bare bones. Bare bones existed wayy before the modern minecraft trailers
The mining one, when you jump and dig the block above, you can continue mining it, but it saves for like, not much time.

Well the skeletons do have in their code the ability to melee attack so it's not that big of an anomaly, they switch from ranged if no ranged weapon was detected
Finding many of them is weird, but a skeleton will actually drop its bow for a sword if given the opportunity, which will cause it to melee attack you
When they used the coal to fuel the furnace, I thought they were hinting at a minecart update. Imagine my dissapoitment
talking about vertical climbing spiders and bow-less skeletons but not talking about the mixed crafting table/furnace they kept for the final shot even though it has been pointed out for months before the trailer got revealed ?
They make it look so cool and fresh in the trailer animations... Now compare that to what we got.

In the First scene of the 1.17 trailer you can see Steve how he's putting a copper block on the roof. But when you look more exact, you will see that the stairs on the roof don't make sense.😂😂

In an older version you could give skeletons swords
For the Dripleaf one, pretty sure Alex was just jumping off them, not being bounced up by the physics of the block.

Actually at 0.41 during the skeleton part, the skeletons actually had bows. They were just hard to see because of the lighting

Also for number 23 - Im pretty sure momentum does continue as long as your playing multiplayer. When playing single player you have to wait for the portal wait timer but when in multiplayer the portal wait timer is removed.
i was just about to comment this too but glad someone already has. the two middle skeletons r holding bows n the one on the far left looks like its aiming the bow at steve but its hard to tell for that one
Skeleton #3 appears to have an inverted bow as well.
I think chainmail armor should be able to go under other armor, like iron or diamond etc.
Ever since the village and pillage update, minecraft trailers have been an entire let down compared to the reality. Before that, the trailers showed exactly what was expected. No sort of shaders, no different animations, just the base game with the new features
One other difference is in the trails and tales update the chiseled bookshelves are able to pulled to make doors but in game they are immovable
It's an amazing feeling when you notice something scientifically wrong and you're like "GASP, THAT'S AGAINST ONE OF NEWTON'S LAWS >:0"

There is another mob that can sleep: If you own a cat and you let is stand and then go to sleep, (at least on bedrock edition) the cat will go up to you and sleep on your character. You can only see it for a brief second when your camera shows you your character during sleep though.

It partially got to be blamed at who made the trailers. The most recent ones are now made by elemental animations.

The nether portal transition is a feature on Console Bedrock. You can fly thru or run thru the portal, and without stopping, it forces you into the neither. It's a parity of the game versions.
it's true, I build these nether portals on my nintendo switch fairly often and it always forces me into the nether, no matter what
