In this video Canadian Guitarist/producer Dean Wolfe reacts to Sepur Tua by Alip ba ta.
A LITTLE ABOUT ME: I'm Dean Wolfe, a mostly self-taught Canadian guitarist/composer/multi-instrumentalist/singer/producer/performer. I started out as a full time musician on the road at age 17 for two years, but went part-time ever since while holding day careers including as a chef and in spiritual health care while raising a family.
I've recorded hundreds of my own songs- many being used in media and award winning documentaries etc. I've been in several bands including a prog/jazz fusion act nFuze, performing in International Jazz festivals and jazz clubs. I abandoned the prog genre more or less back in the 1990s but have returned to it now with vigour a full 30 years later- so much prog I've ignored and quite frankly didn't have any idea about. My own prog band was rejected by record labels as "too progressive' in the late 80s, so i detoured into grunge, pop and alternative instead (then folk and acoustic fingerstyle guitar and ambient electric as well).

Great reaction dude, with detail and honest analysis, it amusing.
This time Alip is playing a kind of Swing Jazz or Dixie, I am not sure, but the he play so beautiful and flawless as if he only play that kind of music every day. It is the same when he play Blues, many people thought he is a pure Blues player, and when he play flamenco, he play as if he only play Flamenco and also for other Genres. I never known anybody can play guitar that good for so many Genres and all the songs have souls.

Yes, that's right, Alip Ba ta's work is classic. because this work has the title Sepur Tua which means old train. And the sound of the strings being turned off is like the sound of a running train
I already know dean, you such a "Genuine" Guitar players... especially in classic guitar... you have quite a lot an original piece too... hhe...
And for me sometimes the thumbnail is to much add pointless hhe... like you know over to it... hhe... although we know that is just "clickbait" but every reactors have their own fevers... which its just i'm okay with that... hhe...
Anyway the song feel "Jazzy swing" just very old... and i was more impressed by the way he playing the guitar so far... so much development... in attitude of skill and technique... hhe...

Bro, Alip is not full time guitar player, only end of week he play guitar. He works as forklift driver for long long years. He autodidak guitar player, no body teach him. But his talent very amazing, no body can play like him, he is in another very high level skill in finger style classic guitar, like God. thats why many people follow and subscribe him, look his subscriber. And see other his video then you would agree with the statement that he is the master, the king of harmonic, very good jazzy blues and he can play melody and voice tone in same time with harmonic & bass, also drum That usually playing on 2 or 3 people in guitars, but he play all in single guitar classic instrumen. He is the real king of guitar finger style, bro.
