Hey guys in this video i will teach you about the basic bar bending schedule rebar reinforcement shape codes that you need to know before we start detailing the foundations, detailing slabs, detailing beams and detailing the columns we designed in How to design a double story building series, because it is very important for you to know how to make a basic bar bending schedule.
I will introduce you to the basic rebar shape codes that every beginner needs to know and these will be from SANS 282-2004 and SANS 282-2011 which are both derived from BS 4666:1999 and BS 8666:2005 so that you can start making your very own bar bending schedules and you are also able to interpret simple bending schedules on civil engineering sites.
This is also a good video if you need any general and beginner knowledge on reinforcement shape codes for reinforced concrete as its just a presentation video.
