Surprisingly, Swamy, you left out one of the most famous examples: Ramana Maharishi, in whose presence all enjoyed bliss and conviction of being in the presence of a Jnani.
To me, my grandfather was one. He lived a simple life, he passed away after years of being crippled, never once did he complain or fuss about his life. He did years of honest work and lived his end of life in silence. No colleagues, no friends came to see him. He just lived quietly and died quietly. He didn't harm anyone. He didn't ask a thing of anyone. He touched my life in such a vivid way, for lifetimes to come. To me no one is more pure a soul than my thatha and I understood all this only after he left this earth. 💕
Blessed to see this video 🙏🏽. I've got that feeling from my Guru who was also my paternal grandmother. She lived upto 102 years and passed away just a year back. I've always loved her and I was her favorite grandchild. All spiritual knowledge I have was taught by her since childhood. But to realize what she was to me in the truest form took me almost till 2 years prior to her mortal death. She initiated me into Srividhya 2 years prior ro that. Full 2 years I have experienced her real glow. That itself is the avyaja blessings of the Goddess. My Guru had utmost simplicity and a child like face till the end. Thanks for this great video
When I went near Ramana Maharshi's samadhi in his ashram I felt my mind quieten on its own. I did nothing on my own to induce that silence. When you are in the presence of truly enlightened beings your atma will "know" - your noisy mind may rebel against it or question it or doubt it but your atma will tell you who an enlightened being is when you are in their presence. Enlightened beings also live pure, quiet and simple lives - they live like ascetics and they don't seek your money or anything of material value from you. They simple give because it is in their nature to give.
Enlightened people are ordinary people and mostly live their lives of householders. It’s the purity of the mind that creates luminosity because enlightenment is simply the knowledge I am existence shining as consciousness, so it’s the mind that reflects that glory because the Self has no energy itself it is attributeless without qualities.
Feel the same Swamiji whenever i listen to you... on youtube. Your recent lecture at Narendrapur on Self Confidence... despite not understanding the Bengali language, i felt deeply connected. towards the end of the speech .. i thought i saw Shri Ramakrishna Himself speaking to us... it was mystical ... so vivid in my mind..unforgettable experience Swamiji. in my opinion, the more you learn to see that one force, the easier it is to know someone who is enlightened. And the wonderful thing is, that those people see what you see in them, in everyone else. We are all god, always have been, always will be, we just dont all know it.
Those people dont just know it conceptually. They live it and are on a conscious state like a pyschedelic trip where that is all they percieve aswell. There energies are on that level of truth, because theyve done there spiritual work. Its not like most that just 'know'/believe it, but are still well in the normal day to day trance of human consciousness in this illusionary earth plane.

The type of the challenges that they face with such cheerfulness is really amazing. No wonder that earth is called Mother Earth and nature as Mother Nature. A woman nurtures and cherishes because it is part of her nature. A noble soul has said that for a mother a child will always be precious even though for many the adult child may be a villain. It is the irresistible nature of the mother. March 8 is international woman’s day. I wanted to see what words and numbers say about woman. So I used two simple numerological schemes and present their results to you. According to one scheme the words Happy, Freedom, Strong, Brave and Peace total the same points as the word Woman. I love Swamiji's talks and presence, but I have my doubts about the idea of "enlightened beings." I feel - and I may be mistaken - that this worship of supposedly enlightened beings says more about the love in the hearts of the people who are so moved by gurus - which is projected onto that other "higher" being. There is much hope for us all!
The Self is akin to electricity in that in and of itself it has no power however when it goes through an instrument like a radiator it produces heat and a radio sound, etcetera. In the same way awareness when it is reflected in a very pure mind it will produce great bliss and peace around the Self in the form of that particular human beings mind.
If one says he has recognised some one as enlightened, it must be according to his thoughts. If one is really enlightened, he will see every one like him. Because as Sri Ramanar says, all are already enlightened, only they don't realise they are. You can't recognise enlightenment since it is beyond thought process. If one likes being in the presence of someone he may call him enlightened, but how do you know if really he is. Therefore, the right question is to realise who you are and not whether some one is enlightened or not. Answer to this question can be given only by an enlightened person, but the beauty is a really enlightened person will not answer. He will be silent.
