This is Kacee's first time watching reaction to the movie "Major Payne" (1995). Maj. Benson Payne (Damon Wayans) lives, breathes and sleeps war. But after being honorably discharged from the Marines due to a lack of wars, Payne, the natural-born killer, has absolutely no idea how to cope in everyday civilian life. Fortunately, before he completely breaks down, Payne finds his way back into a military capacity at Madison Preparatory School, leading a group of misfit JROTC students who don't want to be led. Whipping these kids into shape might be his toughest battle yet.

im an army vet, this came out while i was in, we watched this in the barracks and were dying laughing the whole time. the Drill sergents started using "front leaning rest position" for all push ups and their insults got more colorful
I joined in '02. And when I was hearing the Major Payne jokes. I had the problem of always laughing. Laughing is still not permitted on Ft Benning. lol

The kid who played Tiger is Orlando Brown. He grew up to play Eddie in That So Raven. You might recognize Emily Walburn as Hilary Banks from the Fresh Prince( Karyn Parsons), while the deaf cadet was played by Damon’s real life nephew.
Brown was also 3J in Family Matters.
Damon nephew wasn't the deaf guy. He was the other older black guy... His name is Damien...
The guy who played the biker is a wrestler named Bam Bam Bigelow.

I used to watch this with my dad and brother on VHS.
My dads cat weighed 20lb at his heaviest and sometimes when he was on his back he couldn’t really sit up, so my dad would go “one tubby tubby, two tubby tubby, until he got up.😂

Gym class became hell on earth for some of the heftier children cuz of those lines. 🤣🤣🤣 Just getting that line in MY head made the final pullups/push-ups etc damn near impossible. I missed out on the class high-mark cuz my azzwipe friend said it. Cost me a $5 bet and I fell on my ass in front of everyone.

The Wayan brothers are a LOT more than just Marlon and Shawn, and Damon is definitely one of them along with Keenen, Kim, and Damien and several others i can't remember.
Yeah, it’s too bad they aren’t bigger stars. I mean they are, but definitely not as big as other people from their show In Living Color… Jim Carrey, Jamie Foxx and Jennifer Lopez are all bigger stars than any of the Wayans

When I was young my dad was a major in the army and absolutely adored this film. Needless to say this is one of my favorite comedies of all time and always brings me a hefty dose of nostalgia when I see it.

What I like most about this movie is how accurately they portrayed the Marine. The uniforms, demeanor, terminology, stances, and other details were near perfect. You can tell had a Marine consultant on scene, and I really appreciate that.

My late older brother loved this movie and showed it to our family and the amount of laughing I did straight hurt my ribs. The lines are so memorable and the amount of time i say “now you might feel alittle bit of…. pressure” 😂😂

These types of film usually don't make me laugh, and that's totally fine since they're not really meant for me. But this film is genuinely hilarious and makes me crack up every single time, mostly because of how unhinged Maj. Payne is thanks to Damon Wayans' incredible performance.
This movie definitely will stand the test of time. I show it to each decades kids since it came out. Everyone has a great time with it.

I remember recognizing him the most as Shermanator in American Pie , but i also know him various other films like October Sky, and his small part in Chris Farley's film Black Sheep.
My dad was a Major in the Marine Corps when this movie came out, and when he retired a few years later as a Lt. Col., he went to Hargrave Military Academy in southern Virginia as the principle and football coach. Very similar life stories....

Kacee is the only reactor i’ve seen who caught the part where Payne put Stone behind him while dealing with the stepfather. Marines fight for those who can’t fight for theirselves. When he slipped the punch he even did that in a way that kept him in between them. But, i will say the actor who played Alex Stone was 20 when the movie was made and is supposed to be a 16-17 year old. So not quite as old as she believed.
The ending will always be my favorite😭! (Btw I didn’t know tiger is Orlando brown) hope y’all having a great new year so far🩷
Damon Wayans is the older brother of Marlon and Shawn. There are 10 of them (5 girls, 5 boys), 6 of them are in the entertainment business. The kid that was always dancing, D, is Damon's nephew, Damien Wayans.
One of my JROTC instructors in high school back in the 90's was a retired Major and this was his favorite movie to show us on days when there wasn't anything to do.
It’s Damon, Keenan , Kim, Shawn and Marlon Wayans that are the siblings in the industry. The one kid that was named D is a Wayans also. He’s one of their nephews and a cousin to Shawn and Marlon. They also have a family
Member that’s an established writer for shows and movies and a niece that’s coming up in comedy. That police officer from the other guys that was one of the A-Holes is Damon Wayans’ son.
lol the kid name D is Damien Dante wayans. He’s all their nephews (his mom is their sister). He’s also a writer along with his cousin Craig wayans & his sister shaunte is a comedian. Of course his cousin Damon jr we know & Damon jr & his brother played in a few episodes of their dad tv show my wife & kids.

His accent/mannerisms in this movie are so consistent and believable and slightly creepy. I can't see him as any one of his other characters. Major Payne is the first movie that pops in my mind when someone mentions Damon Wayans.
Any actor/actress with the last name Wayans are 100% related. There are the first crop of brothers and sister then their children.

Damon Wayans and Daniel Tosh have been my two all time favorite comedians. The other Wayans brothers just came off silly to me, but Damon is/was hilarious. If you guys get a chance, check out episodes from the old show "In Living Color" that had Damon Wayans, Jim Carrey, Jamie Foxx, some of the other Wayans brothers, and others in a half hour comedy sketch show that came on in the 90s if I remember correctly. It was my favorite show back then. Damon Wayans doing Homie D. Clown was gold.

Hey guys. Love your channel. Regarding movie comedies, I HIGHLY recommend checking out where it all began: The Marx Brothers. I recommend A NIGHT AT THE OPERA first, as that is the best introduction to their work, followed by DUCK SOUP, which is their best film. Nearly 100 years later, these films are still absolutely hilarious. Short, too.
An underrated comedy classic from my childhood.

The guy the kids hired to "teach Major Payne a lesson" was a wrestler known as Bam Bam Bigelow. He has since died, I forget what year exactly somewhere in the 2010's if I recall correctly. I remember losing my shit seeing him in this as a kid as I was a huge wrestling fan back then.
In regards to Alex's age:
Firstly, I feel like so many people forget that most people stop growing and reach physical maturity around 15 or 16 years old. Like seriously, all throughout junior and senior year, a lot of us looked like adults because biologically, we already were.
Secondly, Alex's actor was actually only 19 at the time of filming; only 1 year older than his character since Alex is likely around 18 and in his senior year.
One part is true, that when the Brigadier General was telling Major Payne that you get two looks before you have to EAS. That is absolutely true. You usually get two opportunities (looks) to get promoted in the Marine Corps.

I was 7 years old when this movie came out. My dad still quotes it to this day. Anytime he sees me laughing and doesn't know why he'll ask me "What's so funny? You find a piece of candy in your pocket?!" 😂

You know Casey, Schools did not care in the 90s. They literally just decided in like 89 to stop beating children in public school. I know, I'm 40 and we got beat in kindergarten. Like paddles and what not. Positive reinforcement was a hot topic when this movie was made. And there was smoking in high school until 1999. I remember, my class was the first to not get to smoke in the halls. Around the year 1996, America went full 1984. Like child abuse was extremely common place all throughout the 90s. Daycare hysteria was real, but it was so rampant that it was not hard to cover up. Like too many people were guilty for anything to get done. Greatest injustice of my lifetime.
There are 9 Wayans siblings. The ones in show business is Keenan Ivory, Damien, Kim, Shawn and Marlon. Damien's son is an actor. Then I think other nieces and nephews had bit parts in things.
Craig, shaunte & Damien (Derek aka D in this movie) 1 or two other sisters write & Damon sr other son (or nephew) played in 1or 2 episodes on his tv show my wife & kids.
Plus two of his daughters. Man it’s so many. Some play small roles.

one of the first movies i remember watching when i was a kid. still love it to this day. great film. i remember my dad and grandpa laughing their asses off at the finger scene at the beginning.
The funniest thing is picturing Major Payne teaching the kids the dance routine at the end. If you notice Tiger was doing the same dance moves Major Payne was doing in the club scene 😂
Man, wow, i saw this movie as a kid and I havent SEEN IT SINCE!! Wow does this bring back memories! Like the only parts I remembered were the finger thing, them trying to steal the trophy and the dude twirling the gun. If you liked this movie, youd like "Heartbreak Ridge" with Clint Eastwood. Also, if you're scared of choking Kacee, you might want to buy a 'Lifevac' (it was on the news a bunch of times) it's like this really simple device that you put in front of someone's mouth if they're choking. Damon is actually the 4th oldest wayans sibling, Marlon and Shawn 3rd oldest brother. Damien (soldier with the backwards hat) is Damon’s nephew.

I always thought the guy that played "Alex" looks like he might be related to Scott Bakula. I guess not if his last name is Martini, but similar looking. This movie is so much fun. Great reaction. The deaf kid is Damien Dante Wayans, another Wayans family member and he was 15 yrs old when the movie was released. Being older than you two kids, the movie this reminds me of is "Meatballs" with Bill Murray.

If you want more things Wayans (Damon or otherwise) try In living Color, it’s a variety sketch show from the early 90s. You pretty much get the entire immediate family in this show ( along with a few other performances from younger versions of major entertainers now).

The first time I watched was when it first came out on VHS. I was in the military and someone got this. We all thought it was going to be about a movie making fun of how dumb soldiers are. We were so wrong and ended up loving Major Payne!!!
