I had a 2-door Brava with sunroof and tinted windows when I was in high school... I loved it.... Mine was fuel injected.... I had a lot of fun with it.... Thanks for the video
FIAT It's a look a great compact and small car in that days around the world...in Indonesia, in that day in 78's Fiat was going to sun set in the market, it's not easy to compete with Japanese car, event though Japan was new comer as well, we called New Kid on the block....but who known, becoming a baby boomer very fast.. Now I've 2(two) type of Fiat, 131 CL ((SOHC) and 131 Brava (SOHC-in New Model) both in a Vintage Mode...I love Fiat...
Royal Oak Rocks!! I love Memphis Smoke.. gotta go back there soon.. I have a Fiat, and Detroit was the host city for Fiat Freak Out a couple of years ago..
Those were the real Fiat. I remember the Spanish SEAT 131 (same chassis as Brava and Fiat 131); so strong car for that years. Now they are one of the most forgotten brands in Europe, at least in Spain. I only see Puntos and Stilos, no Cromas or cars made for the family... Fiat have had lost a lot of reability those last years. I hope Chrysler help Fiat to made a new small, mid-size and executive car, but with their own chassis, not a Chrysler-badged.
i had one and beat the ever living crap out of it. snapped all the bolts in the differential because i used to do hole shots. had it fixed, and kept beating on it. the good old days. i may buy one just yo beat on it again
@frankd1965 so they had unions too? heck i had a 131. for a while it was a decent car. but then it went to shit. . actually miss that car though. but parts were non existant. in teh days before ebay.
When I was in college in mid-80s I had a green 1978 Fiat SuperBrava 2-door coupe. I love that heavy european steering on a 5-speed transmission.
I bought a new 1978 131 SuperBrava coupe, manual. Champagne yellow with brown leather seats. It had a Blaupunkt stereo. Really handled well.
My Dad loved his 131 Mirafiori's had 3 of them MK 1 2 and 3
