i mean, come on... this is actually insane!! 🔥 if ever there was a classic DH build, then this is it, reminds me so much of the stuff you were doing in CS1 👏
Oh man i have just discovered this channel and binged this entire series and what can i cay? by the end i felt sad i caught on! It was perfect, as homelander would say! I have never seen such detailed build in this game! My bar for C:S2 was never high but this series alone elevated my hopes and dreams! This is BY FAR the best city build in terms of the depth, style and details since Strictoaster's Nydal! And those small dense recolored buildings with orange roofs remind me of Jeremy Thunder's Scylla Republic! Everything in this project is so, SO GOOD! The inattentiveness, the editing with those transitions, the vibes, the usage of decals, concrete building blocks, and the favelas, my god, i couldn't imagine this was possible to portray in this game! Just wait for those unit cubes that we had in C:S1 and the area will bloom. The waterfall, the runway, that artificial canal back at the beginning, those are so creative! I wish you all the best and hope you will continue this journey for many many more years!
Unreal build! The aesthetic is spot on. I grew up in Sao Paulo and it reminds me a lot of Shopping Itaim or Shopping JK. Would be cool if you could add a big sign on the side of the building that says "Shopping Rio Paulo" or something like that. Only other thing I would add is that the upscale shopping malls tend not to have as much wear and tear as you placed on the buildings. Usually they're newer and are well maintained since they are popular with the upper classes.
so it's basically a proto procedural objects mod, nice! CS2 is finally becoming interesting. Now all we need is more workshop assets and differently styled buildings to work with, can we also scale/modify the converted building models yet?
I know maybe its a bit too late, but for the pedestrian street you said was too wide, i would of liked to see small pop up markets there with maybe a statue, with maybe benches/planters down the middle, more like british high street vibe
Seems like you didn't have the Road builder mod when recording at the time but definitely now you can turn those large pedestrian paths into smaller ones and add all those custom roads designs to further in hance your already insane builds
Absolutely amazing build. I've actually started playing skylines 2 recently and instead of just playing the game for efficiency I'm forcing myself to create green spaces, detail up some plazas and parks and merging building into larger blocks etc. One question: Do you use any parking lot mod? How come the one at 16:50 follows the node being moved? The only parking lots I have are the ploppable ones and just decals that I don't think are functional.
Probably Rio Paulo is a mix of Rio and São Paulo (i missed the first video, so probably is that) and, i didn't see anyting from São Paulo, can you try to build the Museu do Ipiranga? Its a big and european museum building in São Paulo downtown
Man, as a Brazilian, I cannot help myself but to feel annoyed by all these tennis courts in Rio Paulo 😂 We do play tennis, but it will be restrict to fancier areas, probably fancy rich clubs, or fancy closed neighborhoods. Rio and SP are like Los Angeles and New York, both hosts the biggest TV/Movie stations, celebrities, so we have some “Hollywood” areas where rich people live. Usually, closed condominiums in between hills, next to the beach, very fancy and rich, or a bit far away from downtown and the favelas. The tennis court in the beach is a no no as well. You will see many beach sports (beach volley, beach soccer), skate park is alright. Usually you have a big avenue, bike ways, then a huge sidewalk, next to it there will be some kiosks, tables, shade, and then the beach (very busy too). The tennis courts next to the favela, please do something 😭 we need soccer pitches lol. Finally, ONE thing that would greatly increase the realism would be to have some Brazilian stickers instead of the ones you use. Famous brands you’d see in Brazil, grafittis and so on. You do a great job with the vibe but the English everywhere is a bit strange (although we do have many foreign brands here, and even shops with “americanized” names too). The above being said, this build is absolutely INSANE. It’s beautiful to see how you can view into the future and plan ahead. You start with this and I cannot understand where you are going with it and how it’s gonna work, and at the end it just makes sense and it is so organic and looks so great. No one can replicate the feeling your city has because, well, you build so many custom stuff that makes it unique. Well done! ❤
Any chance we could get a list of all the mods you use ? I would love to know when you got all the extra stuff you have in the "Extra Detailing tool" Great video !
Its the other way around, black makes things hotter as it absorbs the sunlight (because its dark) white does not absorb much light, so its actually really good.
Man I hate so much white. When there is a lot of sun, it gets so bright, even too bright when i wear sunglasses. Can not look at the ground, walls, up, anywhere.
Mod is: "Vanillia Ploppables: Service Buildings/Zoned Buildings" and its made by Qoushik!🙂
came her to ask, thanks
Probably the best build I've seen in CS2 so far! The music was pretty good as well.

Game recognizes game!

@@krnshon welcome to the channel! Thanks for the lovely comment. Stay tuned, something special coming!
This build was absolutely astonishing!
Incredible work!

It reminds me the shopping RioSul on Botafogo - Rio de janeiro, because of the parking lot on top, so nice
I love that the second side "had some effort put into it!"... so the first part was off the cuff?!? ROFL!
Nuts mate, really good nuts.
Amazing!
Great episode DH. The detailing around the shopping centre really brought it to life and suited it also.
Nice to see your channel growing DH. It's about time!
Dude, you are doing artwork!!! Music is really cool as well!
I'm in awe with the final result and the amount of detail you managed to pull off!
Dude, every time i think you can't do anything better, you come with a new video like this. Mind blowing stuff mate! Love your creativity!
Wow! Absolutely incredible work. 🙌
I loved this one! you're absolute insane with detailing! I was waiting for a shopping mall build and you did not dissapoint!
Never ceases to amaze me at what you manage to pull off this early into C:S2's life, and the relatively limited modding and assets. Incredible!
I NEED MORE RIO PAULO
Fantastic build and great visualization. You had a vision and made it happen. Inspiring.
Super beautiful, Harry! Love that, mate!!
I may be wrong, but i think it'd be pronounced 'Hiu Paulu' in Brazilian Portuguese. Amazing work!
Incredibly creativity. Awesome build!
@ColosalOrder it is time to release a proper asset editor, the creativity is really here already ;)
Wonderful build man ❤
Looks frikin amazing! Superb work.. wow dude 👌
You should use some graffities in tunnel entrances and underpasses walls like here 0:48
The map is slowly being filled out beautifully
Amazing build! Such a great idea for the carpark. 👏
so it's basically a proto procedural objects mod, nice! CS2 is finally becoming interesting. Now all we need is more workshop assets and differently styled buildings to work with, can we also scale/modify the converted building models yet?
Woaah !!! It is very impressive utilising all the game mechanics to make a build like this 😊
making things out of props is peak cities skylines
Without assets you have to get creative and this is a great build
the best build I've seen in CS2 so far!
So awesome DH Ur builds are really excellent mate bring it on
Super cool, killer build as usual 👍😀
just brilliant. thank you
I know maybe its a bit too late, but for the pedestrian street you said was too wide, i would of liked to see small pop up markets there with maybe a statue, with maybe benches/planters down the middle, more like british high street vibe
Unreal 😮
This series is absolutely insane! Have you tried the road builder mod, to build small pedestrian only allies, this might help you alot.
Seems like you didn't have the Road builder mod when recording at the time but definitely now you can turn those large pedestrian paths into smaller ones and add all those custom roads designs to further in hance your already insane builds
Brilliant!
it would be really cool if you could build a city like welli with the hilly terrain and houses!
Amazing!
Very creative 👍🏼
This is next level. How many hours did this take again? O.o Some Cities creators really make art, and this build is a masterpiece.
U are the goat ❤❤❤
Wow! Amazing creativity as usual. Is that building prop mod available?
Absolutely amazing build. I've actually started playing skylines 2 recently and instead of just playing the game for efficiency I'm forcing myself to create green spaces, detail up some plazas and parks and merging building into larger blocks etc.

They need to hire you
posting this week? 👏💓
DH: Built an amazing shopping district in a couple of hours.
Me: Can't build a starter city layout and deleted everything.
Duh.
You could create your own pedestrian street with the road builder mod maybe

o cara é brabo demaiis
Man when we get procedural objects for cs2 it would change everything and make things simpler
The community been real quiet since this dropped. Probably cause everyone is still trying to figure out how homeboy achieved this.
Cool
Cyberpunk vibes :)
At this point we are not even playing the same game anymore
Any chance we could get a list of all the mods you use ? I would love to know when you got all the extra stuff you have in the "Extra Detailing tool"
Great video !
just found your channel and saw the shacks are they actually functional ? ps you a great detailer going to enjoy watching you for sure
8:50 you can use the road builder mod to make a 1 u pedestrian road🙏
could you share a mod list? I've got very frequent crashes after the new update :(
Truly Original! Although, because of all the white paint, im sure the shopping center would have a heat warning 24/7 lol (got it the wrong way)
White paint reflects sunlight… meaning it would be cooler…
Its the other way around, black makes things hotter as it absorbs the sunlight (because its dark) white does not absorb much light, so its actually really good.
oh, mb
@@GreenWorm-lw7em all good lol

Will you ever return to Centauris and finish it? :)
Is that a bit toooo much rust😅
Great work! What is the name of the mod, please?
How do you change the color of the netlane fences?
Which mod did you use to get this building block?
