The waiting for ambulances might be an issue with clinics from the far side of the map trying to send ambulances to sick people then tkaing forever to drive there. I think the solution is restricting clinics/hospitals to nearby districts to stop silly ambulance pathing.
You know what, you are right!! I remember having this same issue in Scattered Island. Thanks for the reminder, will definitely be assigning districts to the clinics.
I decided to search up your issue and it seems like you're not the only one going through such strange healthcare issues. Seems like the remedy to that is to place more hospitals, not clinics, since hospitals seem to be able to tackle more serious diseases apparently. If this is the solution, it will be pretty inconvenient since the hospital building asset is... quite too big I'm pretty sure. So not sure what can be done if that's the case. Then there's apparently upgrades to schools having better health apparently? Idk if this would help but it's based off some basic research.
To improve the health you’ll need to look into the development tree and start to place Disease Control Centre, Health Research Institute, Medical University etc. Clinics are fine for early game and small populations, but as your city grows its citizens have higher expectations.
Awesome and great episode once again! Really enjoying this series; in my humble opinion, one of the best CS II series out there. I would advise making the university available for your SIMs asap. Since it will have a deepening impact on all other aspects regarding the RCMI. Keep it up and looking foreward to the next one, thanks for the upload!
Min. 51:00 Build a forestry there. You can use the logs from 'find it' as well as vehicles. Additionally, you can use an industrial building, and it can be equipped with storage spaces for storing finished wood pallets
You are one of my favorite city builders. Your videos are like ASMR plus entertainment and eye candy for design. And I admire your tree placement, my cities are always so barren, cause one gets lazy with detailing, but I love watching yours! Best regards Sanctum Gamer.
The way to solve your health questions are quite simple, first off build hospitals etc and include the upgrades etc. Research points aswell for special buildings and so on. Also you should make districts and assign your clinics etc to each district ä. The game is setup so its the first available ambulance will answer the call no matter where on the map the call come from. By restricting the clinic for instance to a district it will only operate in that area. Hospitals have a more range of treatments aswell than clinics so a mix of them would improve everything. Make sure to make sure that you also have public transport connected to the larger medical facilities as people with minor injuries can transport themselves quickly and wont need an ambulance
51:00 the first thought that came to my mind was some type of mall or shopping center. but maybe the amount of ground would not be quite enough for that idk)
If mainly using clinics then you should set those clinics to specific operating districts so that they won't have to cover a wider span. This will help with the waiting for ambulance issue. Hospitals have a greater effect on healthcare due to them providing more care for different illness and disease.
There is several types of healt care facilities like the disease center etc, maybe it will help to have more of those spread across the city. Just a tought.
Maybe try assigning your clinics to certain district so they won't go too far district making a long journey thus slowing down healthcare. Beautiful! May I know the map name?
I think adding one or two more big hospitals might help fix your Problem with healthcare. Afaik the Big hospitals have an Upgrade to cure more serious injurys and illnesses. I would imagine that if the game realy works like this that it is to emulate reality. irl those small clinics wouldn't have specialised equipment like x-raxs and whatnot. (Atleast here in Germany) And alot of specialists moastly work in big Hospitals.
@@SanctumGamer I tryed this in my city and it actually worked. (I build an Medial University with all the expansions and build a big Hispital with all the upgrades) my Health went from 59% to 64% (takes a verry long time to take affect)
Why every lot got a House? I think you may leave some empty lots, abandoned places, or even more buildings under construction (all around the city) for more realistic view
Is it possible that people are leaving due to your extremely low unemployment rate? Theres simply not enough variation of jobs available so they leave? I dont know how much economic detail CS2 goes into. Just a thought
And I'm not gonna lie, it is unashamedly a car-centric city 😅 When we get assets that allow for building bike networks and such, I'll tackle a less car-centric build.
@@SanctumGamer Understandable. :D Try to tackle a so called 15min city, so everything necessary is withing ca. 15min walking distance of all houses. Furthermore the traffic in the town is heavily focused on public transportation, biking and the like, cars aren't allowed to be driven everywhere and it is usually not necessary, nor that much fun.

Likely the case, and plus Sanctum doesn't set districts so maybe the game thinks it has to do that.
You know what, you are right!! I remember having this same issue in Scattered Island. Thanks for the reminder, will definitely be assigning districts to the clinics.
I agree with u. That's the issue
Beautiful video once again! I really really like the Spanish housing theme in the corner❤️🔥🔥
I'm glad you like it! It's definitely a winning look.

Thanks for the tips. Will definitely do that. I had completely forgotten about the development tree 😅

Yeah, I think I can't ignore the university any longer.
Min. 51:00 Build a forestry there. You can use the logs from 'find it' as well as vehicles. Additionally, you can use an industrial building, and it can be equipped with storage spaces for storing finished wood pallets
Hmmm, that's an interesting idea. Thanks for the suggestion.

Thanks a lot, I appreciate your kind words! 😊
a large sports complex, a large university and a large zoo with mountain trail hike nearby is what missing from this build!!
restrict the clinics to operate only on their surrounding districts so they don't have to send ambulances all across the map
Good point. I had completely forgotten about this. Will definitely be doing this. Thanks

instead giving soo many clinics you should allot districts to these clinics then the ambulance will only contribute only in a particular district
Yup, this is definitely the way. I will be doing this!
Check the happiness scale, should indicate what people are unhappy about. Might help with the exodus.
Hmm, that's a good point! Thanks, will definitely check it out.

Great video as always, Sanctum! See you on Saturday!
See you then! 😊
my brother never disappoint me, much love from indonesia bro
Also the area behind the elementary school could've been a park for the kids instead of more housing! Do it for the kids! Lol
I see this too often in this game. Every school I’ve known, besides some in dense capital cities, has some attached open space for students
You are right. I tend to forget these things 'cause I go into this "plop, plop, plop, plop" zone 😅 Will try be more mindful of this in future.
Seus vídeos são incríveis, as cidades são incríveis, parabéns.
What mod are you using to make the zoning squares that clear? I love it a lot as the base look makes it difficult to see what's zoned where imo.
It's called "Zone Color Changer"
@@SanctumGamer thank you
Really love the city!
Thanks 😊
try restricting services to specific district so that ambulances dont have to drive off to far districts to fetch sick people
This is definitely something I'll be doing!
you can make a big university where all the students can come
Will be doing so soon, thanks.
08:30 Can you tell me the name of the mod you used?
The only mod I see active there is Find It
Being able to place down individual buildings instead of letting the game automatically place buildings look more realistic!!!
I fully agree!
Maybe try assigning your clinics to certain district so they won't go too far district making a long journey thus slowing down healthcare. Beautiful! May I know the map name?
Thanks for the tips. The map name is Coral Riches.

Maybe this is a bit OCD, but the patch placed at 32:34 isn't a perfect rectangle 😭
Hahaha! I noticed that during editing and it also bugs me! 😂😂 Will be fixing it when I'm next in game!
Hey btw, I see you're using CS2 radio tracks on your videos.. are they copyright free?
Yes, they are copyright free.
Why don't the buildings I plonk from plop the growables function? Like they're just there for the sake. No people resides
That's a weird one. I haven't experienced that before. Try unsubcring and resubscribe to see if it helps.
great video my guy
Thank you very much 😊

Oh...i coment this at the begginin of the video and then I've got what I want at 31:00 jaja
😅
you need hospital, medical college and disease control center to increase the %
Thanks for tips. Will definitely be building them!
Why not put a hospital in the downtown instead of so many clinics?
I'm not a fan of the hospital and how it looks, but it seems I won't have any other option.

That's an interesting thought. It could be, but I also don't know 🤷♂️
What a rather car centric (US-style) city, but quite a cool mod, ngl!
