I was happy to see the twin screw be at least in overall pole position, I love it through and through, for the money it's great, one harvest is all it takes to fully upgrade it, and honestly unless you're doing insanely large fields it makes no sense to have anything but titan draper and titan corn header, which twin screw can run both at base trim, also the twin screw is easily the most maneuverable of them all, so the AI does a fantastic job using it especially on tight turns short head lands and smaller fields, I love the colossus myself by the twin screw stole my heart the 1st time I started playing the game as a noob on easy mode elm creek, once I sold the harvester we get to start with I bought the twin screw and haven't looked back to this day lol, I still buy the colossus as my number 2 after I've established a good income, but seriously when using the twin screw with the titan headers on console that's the fastest harvesting you can do with any header at 10mph, the draper is over 13m wide and corn header is 9m wide the only thing really lacking in the twin screw is the capacity but it does keep it more realistic I also wish it had more colors customization and sometimes it does have difficulty with certain headers and trailers because of how low the front is, that's why I mentioned only titan draper and titan corn header for the speed and ease of use and transportation...
I used the Deutz Fahr Top Liner for a long time before upgrading to a used JD X9 1100. It's a good harvester and I upgraded the header to a 12m Fendt eventually. It worked fine with frequent repairs.
I really wish the agco fendt T10 would have gotten the respect it deserves as the largest capacity highest hp combine in production, not the x9. I'm just glad someone was willing to push past the x9 and the twin screw and gave a truly great, tho claas all platform high capacity combine. I already ditched the x9 when the twin screw came out. And now I'm not sure as I have had a bug with the twin screws tracks in game and the fact it can only go 17mph with out it fishtailing. The lizard combine is amazing. Thanks for doing this type of video. I'm still hoping for a factory face off. Best sugar, flower, etc. then who sells for the best return. Or the most useful silo system. I normally find a new mod or am happy that I already gotten the most efficient equipment possible. I'm going to have to go through my mods as I'm almost maxed out on space on mods already.
All my farms run now with the colossus! just one more point in its favor: it's based on the design of the former best harvester of the game!! great video!
I’m watching this video on July 9, 2023 and the colossus now has an upgraded engine of 1500hp. A hopper size of 153300 capacity. So yeah, if you ain’t running that on the new Texas map or the Michigan map, you’re doing it wrong.
I am a base game player and I use the Lexan harvester that can hold 18,000 L and that is just in the base game. Because I do not have the ability to go online and have mods otherwise I would, Because I live out in the boondocks
There all very nice big combines but the only 2 iv downloaded off the list is the lizard colossus and the twin screw I like to download a good mix of from cheaper smaller equitment up to larger that way when I load n play a new map I like to choose smaller things to begin say tractors about 120 or 170/190hp as most normal farms apart from large ones have that it's really realistic n enjoyable to start of sort of small/medium stuff then play n work ur way up to the bigger stuff after your making a lot of cash n ur farms getting bigger that way ur getting to play with a wide range of things. If u start of big u can't get that much n game gets boring pretty fast but if u work ur way up it feels like u deserve the big stuff as uv earned it n it's great fun but everybody plays the game diffrent that's one of the things I love best about fs it's so diverse n so customisable.
Out of interest, what header trailer is everyone using for the colossus? I have always used the Nardi with my Claas but the “snap on” feature doesn’t appear to be functioning with the colossus 😢 Cosmetically I would also love to be able to change the reel colour on the header. I run all Claas equipment on my farms but having a white and green only header without a red reel just doesn’t look right…
I don’t remember what model it is. But there is a 12 or 13 meter case ih grain header that can unfold and double as it’s own trailer. It’s an in game header so no need to download a mod.
I always use the titan headers that go with it, for one the 13.2m draper header has it's own running gear, just a simple unfold/fold command, and the corn header I believe folds up for transport and is 9m, also if you look they are the fastest working headers in the game, so if you downloaded the colossus mod then the matching headers are what you want, specifically the draper titan header being most important...
My personal favorites in the large category is any of the 8rx JD's and the big bud 747, both are real life marvels to behold and see, and the 8rx is just about the best all all-rounder you can get in the game, but damn expensive in top trim. I get it as soon as I have a spare 600k to spend lol, it also looks badass with the exact rate tanks over rear fenders, really hulkish looking and quad tracks on a tractor is never a bad thing lol... the big bud is by far the best massive field worker in the game, buy the biggest field creating cultivator which I believe is the multiplow/multipurpose 26m field creator cultivator and hope to god you have enough room without obstructions to make new or rework existing fields 😄 🤣, it is also very maneuverable for such a large tractor, I actually love the look of the big bud molded version with hug single floatation tires on it, otherwise it's duals all the way...
I'd still rather use the John Deere X9 1100. Something about it being a Lizard brand kinda kills it for me. But totally see why its in the #1 spot!

I fit the 45ft case header on that deutz fahr lol

great video!
I used to only use the black one but now i love using the yellow one.
Lizard colossus. Buy standard capacity. Then go in after and add the bigger hopper for Free !!! 😀
the twin screw has an insane turn radius and is FAST too, the colossus beats it purely for the capacity though.
For the 300k of the Coliflour _SUS_ , going instead with the smart choice youl have cash for a 60ft'er (roundabout*) and have the same{ish} bill
I really like the Lizard Colossus.
lizard is the only Harvester I use now we love it
LIZARD FOR LIFE
the lizard with the 60ft is amazing

From when you made this video till now lizard colossus has done nothing but extend it's dominance 😂
Yeah I love the lizard colossus
love the lizard, just don't work with global goods transport pallet, still gonna keep using it
really? the colossus doesn't recognize the bug bag???
I use the JD 9770 it’s perfect for someone starting out
Was there any real dought about what would win, the others don't stand a chance against it.
Not really, but it puts the other ones in perspective too.
Could you also do a yield and auger length comparison with the combines?

What are your top 5 large tractors for farming simulator 22? Thank you.

Wheres the versatile
The Versatile has large capacity but not as large as these and the horsepower isn't as high as these either.
