Rest In Peace to your Grandfather!! I’m 36 years and the 90’s were the most fun in gaming my uncle introduced me to Duke 64. The gaming memories will never die

Duke Nukem 3D I own three versions of this. I have the Atomic version on GOG and Steam for PC. I have Megaton on my PS3 and Vita, and I have the 20th Anniversary World Tour disc for the PS4, and digitally on the Switch. I miss Duke it out in DC from Megaton, and Life's a Beach sometimes but I like the new Episode enough the lack doesn't ruin the fun for me.
Duke 3D's Pistol is my favorite 90s FPS Pistol and among my top 3 favorite 90s FPS starting weapons. I love the Shotgun and the Chaingun Cannon. My first run through Death Row i actually beat the level without finding the Pistol so I just had the Shotgun and the Mighty Boot in the early parts of the level. (Very early in the level there's a pair of switches. One opens an area with a Shotgun and some Shells and one opens a cabinet with a Pistol and some Bullets. My first run I hit the Shotgun access switch but either never hit the Pistol access switch or missed the cabinet.
Even after my parents started letting me play games with gore at home when I was thirteen (Summer 97) I only played Duke Nukem 3D when no one else was home to avoid the parental controls being activated.
I know I played Duke Nukem I long before this came out. If memory serves I had played Duke Nukem II before this as well but I might be wrong. Sometimes I'm sure I played Duke Nukem II before 3D other times I'm sure I played 3D before II.

Salute general! Duke is also one of my childhood hero icons. I love that Jon St. John is still lovingly doing his voice for fans upon request. Hail to the king baby! -Medic out but on standby.

I do like the 5th episode, has a great set of Badass tunes and levels done by 3D Realms people, set in locations all around the world!
I do own the Megaton Edition!

6:07... Thats one doomed space marine. When my brother and I would piss in a urinal we'd say "Aaaah much better"... in dukevoice of course.

You should also try the usermaps as some of them are very well made.

I bought a boxset of Duke Nukem 3D and Shadow Warrior in 1997 for $10. Loved both those games

I actually prefer the newer Raze source port, rather than EDuke32. Raze was created by the same guy who brought us the GZDoom source port. It's basically GZDoom, but for Build Engine games. It's fantastic.

I own this version of the game on my Switch, and it’s definitely a playable version for what it is. Let’s hope that the 30th anniversary edition of the game is a more faithful port to the original game.

Duke is something special, I just gave it and many other games like it a try this year and I love it. Duke lead me to discover so many more great retro shooters. Blood and Shadow Warrior in my opinion aren't as great as Duke as Duke seems more well balanced across the board.
    My current favorites are:
    1. Duke Nukem
    2. Ion Fury
    3. Cultic
    4. Boltgun
    5. Prodeus

Your game looks much better than the ones I have here. What Source port you use? Are the dinamic lights a mod or a source port feature?
    Nice vid btw :)

@@ravick007 it's the pc version of the 20th anniversary edition. And that's the default lighting

Saluted General. I'm playing Duke Nukem 64 on pc using Rednukem. There's a way to get it running with ps1 music. The grenade launcher is decent.

Eduke 32 version is the best to port for this game and has alot more options and is 10 times better in my opinion even if I can't play the 5th episode alien world order.😅😊
