These chelsea players aren't dumb. Enzo's used to playing with Messi. He knows these clowns in Chelsea's attack were never scoring. Could've given Gallagher, Jackson, and Sterling 5 of those one on ones and they were never scoring. Pens was the only half chance chelsea had of winning but people don't like hearing the truth.
As others have said, its less about the ages and more about the experience. For example, Harvey Elliott played the full 120 and is barely 20 but he isnt really mentioned as one of the kids, despite being the same age as some of the guys subbed on. Thats because he has top level experience in first team football, much like the majority of the chelsea players, despite their young ages.
The Liverpool subs are all very inexperienced academy players, regardless of age. I think Quansah had the most first team experience of them all and before this season that was at Bristol Rovers, compared to the Chelsea who all have top level first team/UCL/UEL experience in past seasons.

To date Chelseas lowest premier league finish is 14… 1993-95 the highest they finished was 11th … the 7 seasons before abramovic their highest position was 3rd they only got into the top 4 on 3 occasions with the other 3 finishes were two 6 placed finishes and one 5th… and in those 7 seasons they outspent Liverpool, Newcastle, arsenal, Spurs and villa … in fact Chelsea benefitted from the “attraction to London” as top foreign players didn’t want to live in Newcastle, Liverpool and Aston Villa …

Liverpool had no Salah, Jota, Nunez, Thiago, Szoboszlai, Trent, Matip, Alisson and lost Gravenberch inside half an hr. We had a bunch of academy kids in McConnell, Quansah, Bradley, Danns and Clark on the pitch at the end, only Bradley had more than 10 appearances and one only made his debut this week.
And to cap it all Liverpool played midweek and Chelsea didn’t.
This was absolutely one of the all time bottle jobs. Chelsea will never have a better chance to beat Liverpool in a cup final than that and the psychological damage that bottling has done might well prove to be massive. That game will be iconic in years to come as a symbol of Chelsea under Boehly

It was when Chelsea WERE THE CLEAR Favorite going into ET and shockingly sat back and waited for penalties (Poch actually admitted to this) . It’s like playing against 9 men and being defensive. THAT is the DEFINITION of bottling it .
If Spurs are bottlers despite being underdogs in most of the things they've "bottled" then how is this not bottling haha!
In extra time Chelsea bottled it.
Sure at the start of the game they weren’t favourites but when you get to extra time, as the team on top, against a young and massively inexperienced side and completely shrink, that’s bottling.
They actually were the bookies favourites at the start of the game. Once the lineups were announced and it was seen how depleted the Liverpool squad was Chelsea became favourites. A bottling of epic proportions.
Joey must be purposely missing the point. Liverpool brought the kids on in extra time and Chelsea visibly shrank rather than got encouraged, they bottled it.
It hilarious that they think chelsea are going to fix this , chelsea will be more likely to get relegated than win trophies again. You reap what you sow.
