Do u have a TEFR indicating ROI of such type investment considering the followings
1 Majority of existing petrol pump will be fully/partially converted in charging station.
2. Tough competition.
3. Interest on loan of 12 to 13%.
4. Cost of land.
5. Salary & wages.
6. Major owner will install their own charger.
Unless it is done, people will not be interested. U can ask Tata for that.

Bro worst business idea because
1) to earn 3000 rs daily u need to charge 1000 units means 1000 kw ( 1 unit = 1000 wh) means atleast u need to charge min. of 35 EV daily from 0-100% considering (30kwh)
2) 2 staff members for skilled atleast we need pay min. of 30k and for unskilled 10k atleast
3) maintanence cost
What if ur area has more than one charging stations or not enought EV's and most importantly why would he charge in your station if he lives in same locality he could charge in his home only who are from out of ur locality will charge if its emergency
Present it is not Practical ..but in Forthcoming 5 to 6 year's it is practical ...still feel that EV will be in full swing post 2027

My question is even after investing all this , why cant ev car users invest some amount and install one in their own house like tesla chargers , plus petrol pumps have already started installing this so why woukd customer come to us . Sounds risky
Location is the key factor to be considered..
Brother few of us certainly will do the same but not all... And there are various other reasons which will make it work
Prerequisite for entering this business...
1. You need to have other things/services to sell.
2. Away from the city.... About 200 km distance from major city and on the Highway.
3.Existing petrol pump is desireable... As sell of EVs need to increase to make the station profitable.
4. Dhaba inside your petrol pump/charging station..
People need to spend 45-60 min... They shall need space to hang around/spend time. Believe me... This is going to generate most of the cash in a charging station.

1000 units per station means 33.33 car per day per station. it takes minimum 1 hour to charge 30units. meaning your estimate cannot exceed 24 car per day, given that every hour you get one car willing to charge, which is practically not possible. the number should be essentially around 300 to 400 units at best, in turn 9k to 12k per day of revenue.

If you charge 10 cars in a day , you earn about 900 after investing around 15 lakhs and engaging two personnel.
May not be viable for new starters

Our most of the electricity generation is thermal, one side to curb pollution we use EV and other side burning coal to generate electricity to charge the same vehicle.

Existing petrol pump owners with a piece of land beside their petrol pump shall benifit from this kind of business.
Look.... Car shall take 45 min to charge... Add to that there can be a waiting period too...
So passengers in the car need some space to hang around for that period. A restaurant in the premises will be the most profitable venture....
In 45min, you will sell electricity of Rs 300/- but you can sell food items 5 times the price of electric.... And profit margin on food is much higher than the profit generated by selling electricity.

The number of evs in India are very less right now and the time taken for each full charge of electric cars combined with regulations on tariffs (Telangana govt capped it at 12.4 rs/unit) will not generate lakhs of ruppes per month. It might reach few thousands of rupees in the coming 5 years.
