- I bought 8 bikes and this is officially my biggest motorcycle purchase yet! I was not on the hunt for these but when a friend reaches out about a deal like this I had to jump. These bikes were going to go to scrap and had to be saved! If you are interested in purchasing the Bridgestones or CB77s please get in contact with me.
Bikes for Sale album on Facebook: www.facebook.c...
When I listed the CB450s for sale I had a person interested in them for parts. He just happened to send me a photo of his bike and I noticed the 1974 CB450 behind it. I simply asked about it and we ended up working a trade so everyone was happy! This is part of the wheeling and dealing I do so let me know if you want to see more on this type of thing.

This was such a crazy turn of events for obtaining these bikes. I know there will be many comments about how you "can't find these where I live" but I would have to disagree. I am diligent on my bike hunting and am always networking which is why I found the deals on all of these. I don't even entertain messages from those wanting me to find them a specific bike because I can locate one within moments and they never jump on the deals. They are out there but it is up to you to act quickly. My van stays fueled up for when those deal presents themselves. While I would love to share every single detail with you there are some things I strategically leave out such as prices so just know I won't be disclosing that information.
The cb450 has aftermarket headers. Oem have a bridge between them at fender level
@@Imarida2 I know the 500s did but do not believe all 450s do
Well done BJ. More buying and selling would be fantastic. Keep it up.
Thank ya! Noted.
I'm one of your newer subscribers over in the UK. Really enjoying your content, and great to see your attitude and enthusiasm towards saving old bikes 👍
Well thank ya! I love these things and just feel greatly rewarded by saving them
I think the cb450 dohcs are the absolute best Hondas of the era! Coolest engine, simplest to work on, indestructible. Love the brown ones too, that and the green are the best colors aside from the early chrome panel versions
Id love a green one but of all bikes these do look darn good in brown
Thank you for saving these bikes from the crusher! 😍 It really hurts to see these historically valuable bikes to be demolished. I saved quite some cars from being crushed myself.
It is my responsibility to keep these alive and I'm happy to do so!
Wow these old HONDA'S brings back memories of my teen years, I had about 75 HONDA'S over my life about to turn 69 years old now.
Awesome!
Head on shunt and then rotated the forks 180 so the bike could be moved?
Thats what we were guessing due to a chipped oil cooler.
My first vintage Honda was a cb77! Wonderful find and haul! There is always “one more” bike to save out there : ). Great job 👏
🤘
Congrats on the haul and the new 'compliment' to your fleet.
Thank ya!
Nice find! I picked up 4 early 80's honda gl1100s recently. Had to get a storage unit now that I have like 12 bikes, lol.
Awesome, looks like you have a trailer full of fun. Thank you for your great content. I always look forward to seeing your channel.
Thanks so much!
Ooof that last 450 is going to be nice. Chef’s Kiss
Chefs kiss indeed! I am excited to revive that one
The 77s were my first bikes ,would love to rebuild another, but on fixed income , most are out of my range
that 450 is lovely, definitely my pick of the bunch
Absolutely!
I love the buying and selling part. I hope you do more of that and maybe even show your process. That would be cool. You picked up some gems. Very cool man
I can definitely try to show some
I found a deal and jumped on it. Will be more careful next time. It has been a year and I may have a title soon. lol I am definitely an idiot.
Wow. What a haul! Loving the vintage CB77s!!! And of course the CB750s. I have a "project" CB750F (1975) that I hope to get running again sometime. Thanks for the video!
I love the F bikes. Been working a deal on one for 6 months now lol
Bro I love CB750s I have one complete with a kick start and it's the only reason I'm considering rebuilding the the the CB750 probably going to do a chopper or cafe build I know I want to strip, but not cut from the original shape of the bike maybe customize the handlebars and maybe a Harley Bat wing ferring with windshield and stereo with blue tooth tech
Lots of possibilities for sure
Your love for bikes is genuine and really touching... Plus, by saving bikes from the crusher and restoring some other ones, you are an example for environmentally-oriented businesses, bro. Keep going and thumbs up to you! Let us know if you ever get your hands on a Triumph X75 Hurricane, that would be freaking awesome!
These bikes have just brought me a lot of joy and a very unique life so I always try to save what I can. I have only just seen an x75 here in st louis at Donelson cycles. Its minty though!
The dent on that 450s tank will hopefully pop out .
Those grips were common in the late 1980s. I hated them as they were massive, and made my hands ache badly.
It is slightly creased but should be able to be made much less noticeable
@@BrickHouseBuilds the crease isn't showing on the video but hopefully you can still sort it out.
A friend bought a 600 Bandit which had a dent in the top of the tank (paint was fine). They managed to get 99% of the dent out with one of the dent pullers that uses hot glue to stick a pully to the dent.
Talk of epic series in the making. This was a score! I'm looking forward to the series. Even if you did part some off still a win.
I am very excited to do more with the CB750s when the time comes.
So looking forward to it! Best wishes!

Great to see that you saved those bikes. We get many bikes imported from the USA to the UK. I have a Yamaha DT3 250, and a Honda CB360, imported from the USA. They both required full restoration, even although the Honda only had 4500 miles, with original tyres.
If there was ever a face of a man who loved his life, was in a great place and was enjoying what he was doing, it was your face at the end of this video, man!
Excellent haul of bikes! I love everything about you and your channel! Keep it up! 🍻🤘💜
Well Im glad that came through! Thank you again Andy!
Did you know, that Honda CB77 is a cult bike.
I'd say any bike can be such lol.
@@BrickHouseBuilds Not really. CB77 is the "Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance" bike.
@luigi_no my version he is riding a cb500f I thought. I could be wrong I guess
The original Zen Honda is CB77 silver-black, and it is today in the Smithsonian museum.
My problem do not find many bikes in my area that I can afford. Fixed income. But that leads me to looking at some tired, ruff one. I grew up with a father who loved old cars and would take me to some very old junkyards. He taught me to see the beauty in all of them. So now, even if it is totally impractical to fix one up, the longer I look at it, the more I love them. At some point, that time comes that I need to let it go if I can find someone who will help it, or part of it live on. It's not always easy.
I'd like to see more wheeling and dealing. Was that a straight trade, the two 80s Hondas for the 74 CB450? If so, that was a really good trade on your end.
I added cash on top but still feel very comfortable with where I'm at on the deal. Noted on the dealing side 🤘
Yes, I’d like to see more about negotiations.
Noted
👽 Nice space you've got there man.
Thank ya!
Yeah video on the Caddy....wait wait this is a motorcycle channel....sorry got carried away.
Great haul of bikes there and I am guessing that you got the lot for a song since they were going to be scrapped for nothing anyway. I get the feeling that your going to need a bigger boat ...get it 🤣 Maybe there is a way to install a mezzanine floor at the workshop, doubling your floor space in that section !
Regarding more content on the wheelin & dealin .....yes please as we may learn something from a professional (that would be you)!
almost 100K subs..did you ever imagine such a feat? well deserved, but many more to come..great content will do that..
Less than 100 to go! Should hit it late today! I have been chasing it since day 1!
That CB750 with the mags WIN! 100K let's goooooo!
Duuuude I was soooooo happy about that one. I'm not lying saying Ive wanted to do a Lester mag CB750
Nice I had a 750 night hawk 83 pipes went and count not find replacements so sold it
Bro 74 is my birth year, I want my last build to be a 74 flat head HD
A great haul there. Pity you are moving on the Bridgestones, would have liked to have seen you wave your magic on one of those, but I understand your reasons for selling. The dohc 450 looks interesting. Would be good to seen something on behind the scenes stuff.👍
Yeah I know I'd love to revive a Bridgestone and CB77 but just a lack of time
Lets see the wheeling & dealing. Id also like to see how you deal with bikes without titles.
I'm working on a new plan for non titled bikes but recently made a video about the Vermont registration process shutting down. There are many good comments on different routes you can take.
Love your channel. You inspire me to continue my efforts to get my '81 KZ250 single into running condition. I would very much like to see your insights into wheeling/dealing for these classic bikes.
Well I'm glad to hear that! I'll see what I can put together
Nice haul of bikes, BJ. Love the 450!
Thank ya! I'm pumped on the 450 acquisition!
Just wanted to say that, in my opinion, your videos are spot on. I enjoy your approach and personality!
Thank you!
Massive….f@#¥&*n massive, epic …don’t wanna encourage you over the cliff, (and I’m hoping your calm eye is on the big picture) , but this great . The CB77s…awesome . I have a Kawasaki but I bought a used CB72 head light bucket and speedo just so I could put Int on the Kawasaki,.but it won’t fit.. anyway, looks like the same as CB77. , maybe it is? Anyway, looking forward to seeing these come back to life
Epic indeed! I'd love to do them but too many ahead of them
Would love to see more of the buying/negotiations or behind the scenes wheeling and dealing aspects
Noted!
I said a few weeks ago you needed to snatch some bikes up LOL did you message that youtuber asking him where that bike graveyard was there was hundreds lot of very rare bikes and the good old HONDA LOOK BACK AT MESSAGE CAN'T REMEMBER WHO HE WAS
I'm not sure who the person you are talking about is. This deal came to me actually like I explained.
This popped up, I viewed. Also subscribed to get you to your 100K. I'm old and recently bought my 15th m/c, a Honda VTX 1800R, 2002, still in the wind. My 1st bike in 1975 was a used Kawasaki 250 enduro, green.😊
Well I greatly appreciate it!
People sending historic Honda's like that to scrap need a slap LOL
I’m very interested in what you do, but I have to say I would really like to see you do a full restoration (but keep it stock) on a bike with either completely refurbished parts or new parts. Not every bike of course, but something. Like maybe a Honda Nighthawk ‘S’? But maybe that’s just not your thing?
I actually have a CBX restoration underway. I can appreciate a stock bike but I don't covet them as I've found reviving and modifying them more rewarding
Do Lester mag wheels actually have markings on them somewhere that tells you what they are. I picked up a pair of 1980 Yamaha XS650 special basket cases and one of them has mag wheels. I used to have a 79 XS650 special that came with dual disk mags. The one i have now is front disk/rear hub mags. They are stamped with the Yamaha logos cast in. Are they a knockoff of the Lesters? They sure look the same.
Yamaha wheels look similar to Lesters but are indeed different. Lesters have markings
The 'Scrappies' occasionally get old bikes through in NZ, all the ones I've talked-to have a deal-going with someone who takes them all . We do live in a very, very small-country compared to yours and-yet 'Gems' like this still pop-up from time to time . Dave nz
The scrappers here definitely get their hands on some great bikes too
Hi , sorry haven't been watching your channel much as my mum pasted away in early July . Anyway just watched this video and loved it , all those bikes you got , nice one . I loved the Honda CB 450 double overhead cam and would love that bike and clean it up , as I do motorbike valeting , and just by looking at it , i can tell that would come up well mint . Love your workshop , it looks well awesome. Love what you are doing on motorbikes and cars dude 🤟🤟 👍
I'm sorry to hear of your mom's passing. It's beyond difficult so no need to apologize at all.
re-homing stray classics! doing your bit for motorcycles BJ...well done. did you guys in the US get Honda Superdreams? I look quite fondly at them but they quite often seen as crap in the UK.
The dreams were very popular here actually
Dude, I love your shop/showroom! I hope one day to have one like it. I def understand the struggle of having too many projects. I have over 40 bikes now myself 🤣🤣🤣
It's a slippery slope 😅 Thank ya though!
After a Vespa and a motobecain my first real motorcycle was a CL72! It was a great bike and carried me through high school and part way through college.
Awesome!
Heckuva job saving these bikes from the scrapper, especially the Honda CB 450.
🤘🤘
Would you sell the cb450 you just picked up? Possible trade? I have a small fleet of vintage 70’s hondas.
No I have been wanting one of them
Love the content BJ....!!
Good call on hopding on to those CB750's.....!
Cool ..,cool stuff you got going on..
God bless
BG.
🤘
the CB 450 is great, don't wreck it trying to make a cafe racer or some other weird bike, if anything a set of upswept exhausts and trail tyres and suspension lift,
I have another cb450 I'm planning to build into a scrambler actually. This one will just be revived and ridden
The CB450 you got in trade is a sweet bike, parts for the Bridgestone's are unobtainium so good call selling them as trying to restore one would be very frustrating.
Yeah I feel it was the best move
The three conditions that guarantee finding a smoking deal: 1. You're not looking for one. 2. You can't afford it. 3. You have no place to keep it. 😁
🤣🤣🤣 no truer words have been spoken
The Honda with the bent forks probably went down on its side and hit a post between the frame and the wheel, spun and stretched the forks out. It happened to me on an RD350B I had.
We're thinking it was a front impact. The forks were then turned around to allow the bike to roll
I’d guess that CB450 with the bent-forward forks was wheelied (somehow) and landed hard.
From inspection the most logical is that it took a frontal hit bending the forks back. They removed them and rotated backwards so the bike could roll
Nice, i love Honda's. I currently ride a vt750 as its my only transportation. Good job 👍
Cool bikes!
Heartiest congratulations on 100K !!! It is painful to watch when fairy tales are in such a state.....
Thank you!
My brother has a 82 450 nighthawk. Nice little bike faster then my 82 cx500
I like them. Great little twins
I might have your cb750 tank just not sure of the year. Not perfect but yours if you need it
Heck yeah! Perfect is not needed. How should I get in contact with you?
I enjoy riding my stock 2002 cb 500s around the North Antrim coast roads in Ireland.
Cool bikes!
New viewer from Uk, just subscribed. This is so much more interesting than reviews of the newest bling.
Glad you enjoyed! It's almost all vintage on this channel
Those 450's are a great little bike. Resto to a neat period patina and that should make some one a really nice first bike or for a collector a great addition.
Definitely!
My Favorite is your Favorite, Your videos we love to see is ever ones favorite and that CB 450 is awesome make a video will it Run
Of all bikes I have I feel thhe 450 could make for the perfect "will it run" episode
you could probably get a network deal for a daytime show of you buying piles of bikes out of the woods ya know 🎨
I'd much rather be my own boss and share it with you all how I want actually.
Do up the Bridgestone rare if you can get the parts or make or modify Suzuki parts may work
I'd love to but simply have too many projects ahead of them
😮Before you know it you’re going to be able to start a museum of old Japanese and foreign bikes 😂
Well on my way!
You know how I know CB 77 Are cool…………..Steve McQueen had one.
I cant argue that logic as I have a giant McQueen posted by my desk lol
If I had the money I definitely would
The last bike , with a dark brown seat cover, would be siiiiick... :D
It would look good
Nice haul there BJ I like the cb 450 Honda really nice bike and I get it whenever I buy something I just tell the wife it had my name all over it 😉 how could we not lol ,great content and nearly 100 k sub’s congratulations well deserved take care buddy and ride safe 👌👍🔧🔧🔧❤️🏁🏁
Bridgestones are so hard to get parts for... Those will help someone. Great save.
Im hoping someone needs them for sure
id dump the cx. fake moto guzzi! i hate water cooled bikes.
I've built many CX500s and have 4 in the shop. Fun bikes and great to ride. If it has 2 wheels I love it
wow i really like this bike. in Vietnam w can't buy honda cb four
🤘
Love your content. Tank dents... have you ever done any vids on removing them?
I've shown one where I used a tube to push one out
The Black Bomber is my favorite. You made a killer deal there!
The 450 is definitely the favorite for me too
Those forks looks like it landed hard off of a jump, ask me how I know that
The consensus is that it took a front hit and bent them rearward. They removed and rotated them to the front so the bike could roll
As much as I was around those CB77 series, I never noticed the vertical odometer. Very cool feature. You really should consider restoring one of them. They are great machines.
I'd love to fix everything up but there just aren't enough hours in the day. These are tempting though
@@BrickHouseBuilds I hear ya. I got an old Goldwing and an older AJS I’d like to get started on. To many projects in front, and I’m not getting any younger.
I'm collecting vintage HiFi and I do know the "challenge"
Slippery slope to say the least
Merry Christmas and happy new year from northern Italy!!! 🎄🎄🎄
Same to you but from Missouri haha!
i feel like once i am makin much more monies ill end up like you! not a bad thing. love to be surrounded by vintage cars/bike. Dad used to run a restoration shop i helped with a ton when very young.
Where is your shop? Cannot find an address on your website.
I'm near St Louis but am appointment only.
Do a fleet recap. Not sure of what you’re putting together.
I actually just did one a month ago. Here ya are: th-cam.com/video/g8JB0tLAxcc/w-d-xo.html
My first bikes were Bridgestones, awesome bikes.
Awesome!
Your intro sound , Suzuki 750 2 stroke tripple ?????
Triple, yes. Definitely not a 2 stroke though. It is a Yamaha XS850 I built some years back. Here is a link to that flyby video: th-cam.com/video/eZYzwoSn34Y/w-d-xo.html
Good job in saving these old beauties, it would've been a crime to scrap these bikes. CB77 is a little beaut. Lester wheels were sought after back in the day, a friend had a Z1B900 with Lester wheels, I was so jealous of that bike.
I'm happy I got to save them
Did you sell the red Bridgestone and what model is it?
Not sold, check my Facebook which is linked. BS175s
Your shop is rad. I love the look but the contents are even better.
Thank you!
Amazing scenery and a really interesting video!
Glad you enjoyed!
I recognized the Bridgestone in the first clip.
🤘🤘
Is the Bridgestone a 350cc ?
No they were 175s
Man, you found some gems there. Well done!
Definitely a few!
I’d be interested in the motor in the bent fork Honda.
Well it was traded as you see in the video
You can’t find these where I live.
I would bet you could. They are out there
Love to see some dealing - i could use the pointers
Noted!
I want to see more videos on fixing the 450
There definitely will be some when the time comes
I have a 450a from 82 and I love that thing
They really have a charm to them
Love the 73 750 and the 74 450DOHC.
Definitely can't wait to put some time in on those
