@faShenWang thats interesting because i percieved the exact opposite :D in the video from ivan carranza i also had the feeling that the v1 colours the sound a tiny bit more than the v2. i also tell myself i hear that in the slap example here, but who knows. the differences are so subtle, at least to me...

@@FooVines I percieved more headroom in v2 on the slap in this video, cleaner and a little bit punchier in the upper register, but with little less body in mids.

V1 sounds fuller. V2 is more transparent. In my ears at least.
Clarity of the v1
i would prefer the v1. sounds more even and pleasant. v2 more a classic pumping compressor. but both too expensive for me.
v1 is a bit more low end than v2
