I have very recently started to learn Dutch (like two weeks ago). At first it seemed pretty much impossible, with the weird g-sounds and everything. At least for a native Finnish speaker. But then I realised how similiar it is to German which I already know a bit, and now it actually feels quite easy to learn! So right now I am trying to keep up my Swedish, trying to refresh my German and trying to learn Dutch, all at the same time! 😅
as a Dutch speaker i understand a lot of different dialects, even flemish and african.. but Frisian is way more difficult then all the others. for me Frisian sounds more like Scandanavian then Dutchs. but other Dutchies maybe understand Frisian better...

Beautiful language LMAO. I wonder how you do, my dad came to the Netherlands from Italia after 50 years living in NL his dutch is still not great.
