I love your videos reacting to all kinds of stuff but especially the festival video's as I've been a big fan since I was 11 (I'm turning 32 soon) and been going to these kind of parties since I was 16 although I only go to 1 or 2 a year nowadays. Since you seem to love these video's and seem surprised (as though you haven't experienced) these kind of genres or festivals before, which is great! I love seeing such positive first time reaction to the things I hold dear. You might not realise that Italian artists have played a big role in both hardcore and hardstyle music. I think it's more a problem in Amsterdam, Rotterdam maybe Utrecht the cat calling. Here where i live, it doesn't happen.

Just a comment about your reactions: DON'T TALK through the video! It's VERY annoying! Either pause the video and then give a comment, or don't talk.

The Lighting guys aren't doin that much during an endshow cause these shows are time coded which means they programm the whole show in advance. It takes out human limitations and errors but they only do this for deicated shows or show moments cause it takes ages to programm the lights pyro lazers screens and fireworks to match the beat and because endshows are kinda long so it prolly takes days to programm the shows.

No not all of these events are organized by the same company, but Qdance is involved in a lot of them. The biggest non Qdance festival that has a big endshow like this would be Intents festival organized by Intents Events BV. I would love to see you react to their endshow! Another one would be WiSH Outdoor and they often have pretty unique endshows.

Haven't listened to Harmony of hardcore in ages, but I remember in the past listening to one of their CD's I think 2012 (not sure if they still do that), while cycling on holiday in Limburg. It gives you a lot of energy, and as I was not used to slightly hilly areas- that was a good thing! Great memories, do you also sometimes have a moment where you link music to a location? Quite cool:) (it also checks out to link Limburg with hardcore, as they are one of the main production/distribution centres of xtc in Europe, lol)

Where rivers turn to to the sea, there will be always a lot of human activity. The Netherlands is bascially a huge delta where 3 major rivers (but mostly the Rhine) run into the sea. These kinds of areas are great for agriculture but also prone to flooding. If the Netherlands ceases to exist the delta will be placed forther inland. Wherever it will end up will also see lots of human activity. Nowadays driving through Flevoland, it's unbelievable how much land there is and how flat it is, even for Dutch standards.

Seeing you liked this 90s banger as much as Dutchies did back in '96, I'm sure you're gonna love their version of the '70's ‘‘banger’’ 'Aquarius'. Also a massive hit in the late '90s. Keep in mind tho this was music for the masses, true 'Gabbers' listened to much harder stuff, like the undisputed best hardcore track ever in hardcore-history: 'Name of the DJ' by Chosen Few. The unbrella that broke was not a senz umbrella lol, that was a normal one. That said, the "it always rains in the Netherlands" is a bit of a myth. It actually rains about 8% of the time SOMEWHERE in the Netherlands. But this is equally counted when it is "motregen" (the very fine rain you hardly notice) or when it is "Noodweer" (literal english translation would be emergency weather, it can be that severe). In 2024 there was about 850mm rain in total which comes to about 2.3mm a day. on average. (Sources: Weeronlline, KNMI and Compendium voor de leefomgeving)

I have very recently started to learn Dutch (like two weeks ago). At first it seemed pretty much impossible, with the weird g-sounds and everything. At least for a native Finnish speaker. But then I realised how similiar it is to German which I already know a bit, and now it actually feels quite easy to learn! So right now I am trying to keep up my Swedish, trying to refresh my German and trying to learn Dutch, all at the same time! 😅

5:02 Never had that issue, don't know anyone that has had that issue. 5:30 Your lock should be worth more than your bicycle. The classic "Oma fiets" is without gears but gear driven Oma bycicles are available as well. I have one with 7 gears (according to the gear switch, I am pretty sure I only have 6). There is also a model named "Opa Fiets" (grandpa bike) but I hardly ever see those. 6:03 popular myth, if you look at the numbers it isn't that bad really. According to Weeronline and the KNMI (the "national" weather service) it rains about 8% of the time in the Netherlands... which is measured if it rains "somewhere within the country". The good thing about rain is that most of it will miss you. 6:35 mate... that is peanuts. not even "loaded". I have seen people move furniture with a bike. You should just watch all of them 😉 just begin with the first one and work you way up to the last one. Also every defqon.1 edition is special in it's own way. Every year they (try to) do it bigger and better than the year before and every year people say it was the best one ever. Just watch all of them and then you can say witch one was YOUR favorite 😉

we Dutch people call it Nederlands, foreigners call it Dutch. Long story but Anglo countries called the people living here and Northern Germany and the south of Denmark Dutch because they spoke Dietch. Which was Dutch for the Anglo foreigners, that stuck.
