Super super helpful! Driving doesn't come very naturally to me and I feel much more confident about putting my weaknesses to practice after watching your videos. Especially as I don't have a car to practice in and rely on only a lesson every 1 or 2 weeks. Thank you! :)

I passed yesterday, and throughout the whole test, I kept on thinking about this video and vocalising spaces I was seeing during meeting situations. Thank you so much for the help!!

Such a variety of real life situations encaptured in one video and all so clearly explained. Very helpful. Considerate of all traffic participants including the driver, giving good clues of how not to get stuck and keep the flow of traffic moving.

This is the reason I haven't started yet although I have a car and license since last week. We have several of these kind of roads.we have only 1/2 width of the road shown at 3:29 for parked cars on one side and two way traffic

This is so helpful, I really like the description on acceleration sense and highlighting passing places, I have walked down Abbeville Road a lot of the times and I can see how taxing it is to drive through as its very narrow with parked cars and gets really busy, particularly at home time as its close to Bonneville School! Thank you!

I failed my test and got marked on road positioning. The tester said in the residential areas, I stayed out for too long. However, I didn't want to weave in and out when there's another obstruction ahead so of course I stayed out for the whole time.
OK I changed my ways and try to stay in for as long as possible, and I failed another test again and got marked on anticipation. The tester said I should've anticipated and moved out earlier when I see a parked car.
Fudge, whatever I do they pick faults.

At 4:58, you’ve waited on the zig zag lines, was that obstructing the traffic behind you coming from the left of you? I am wondering if I stopped like that on a test whether the examiner would think I’m a hazard to other road users
11:20 as well, you’ve waited at the junction opening , so wouldn’t the examiner feel I’m obstructing traffic trying to come out and perhaps go in the opposite direction? Having failed 3 tests so far, I question everything 😖

Hello, thank you for this wonderful video on meeting. Very useful and well explained. I've been putting into practice what you teach. I have a slight off topic question. How do you get the speed, revs and gear Get Licensed animation? Is it based on data from your dashcam? How do you do it? It's so cool.

Hi Francis, that was a fantastic video and well explained. I had a question however surrounding meeting situations. At times when you are on the main road and have parked cars on your side with the opposite flow of traffic having none or a couple of cars, in what situations would you hold back and in what situations could you still go but slow down?
This is all in mind of the fact that there are no passing places when parked cars are on your side predominantly.
