Vallejo! Vallejo! Vallejo! I honestly think it’s pretty easy to figure out what color it is by the names, but it would be nice to have that confidence during the painting
Another superb video 👍🏻 Just rewatched your originals so definitely a simpler method here (not least consolidating your washes/glaze into the 1 step!!) My AB SS have just arrived along with some Adler & Elhiem so time to try out your various techniques 😧 What colours did you use for trousers & non oak leaf helmets as they look great too. Sniper video sounds good & wishlist for future would include SS Planetree, which don’t think you’ve tried yet plus winter Germans & GIs (could be perfect timing with Bolt Action 3 release) also US GI 43 uniform & British Commandos. Should be enough to keep you busy for a bit! Thanks again for your brilliant videos they’re awesome & keep them coming.
Thanks a lot buddy, I really appreciate that. The technique is really easy to follow, just don't rush the process (like I tend to do ... lol). I use AK Interactive AK11425 and 11424 for the non-camouflaged items. I base 11425, wash (as per video), layer and then mix 25 & 24 (2:1) and then final highlight at (1:1) ... hopefully this makes sense. I have a video out on this technique soon but it should be on some of my older videos too. Planetree is definitely planned and I love your thinking with regards to the winter infantry aligning with Warlords latest news. Thanks! I really appreciate the excellent comment with all these ideas, it'll definitely keep me busy!!
@paintingpanzers great, cause I just got some Italeri Winter German Infantry and I have no idea how to paint them, and the only tutorials for them are for 28mm Bolt Action not 1/72
@Scyfer92 ah awesome mate. Have you tried some of the AB Figures range? They're amazing! I do have a some winter SS tutorials but no Heer tutorials at present.
Soviet winter troops also please. I bought more paints to try to match the ushanka caps. The greatcoats also took some time to get right, to my liking.
Vallejo colors to consider using; Flat Earth (although I think it might be too brown or dark versus using the AK Mud Brown but depends on the artist I think) Germ Camo Dark Green Germ Camo Light Green Germ Camo Black Brown
The colors you use are perfect. Spot on. Yes, there were variations, but from my experience this is spot on. Your technique produces spot on results!!! I’m in awe!
@@paintingpanzers I want to try my hand at this! Probably have to buy more paints though. I’ve done WWII reenacting for years, and I’m familiar with these uniforms. You nailed it
Great result. 👍 If you are lazy and don't wanna do the tidy up you can always choose colours which are a bit too bright and the wash will darken it down. What can I say? I am lazy! 😉
Hi 👋 yes I do use other techniques for painting the other equipment. If you check out my 1/72 Playlist you'll see lots of videos showing how I paint those 😉 I don't really dry brush though, layering is my game 😄
What WW2 camouflage scheme should I revisit?
Dension Smock or Splinter Pattern?
@@Panzerfaust30 I second this.
Perhaps the erbsenmuster again?
Nice
Thank you buddy 🤩
Vallejo! Vallejo! Vallejo! I honestly think it’s pretty easy to figure out what color it is by the names, but it would be nice to have that confidence during the painting
Haha I couldnt agree more. I guess I have to make it now 😉 thanks buddy!
Looks marvelous. Would love to see the Vallejo version. Also, how about revisiting British airborne camouflage and German FJs?
Absolutely mate, ill add them to the list. Thank you so much 🙌🙌
Please, do vallejo tutorial. Or better Tamiya.
Definitely Vallejo planned. Tamiys acrylics for brush painting isn't something I'm any good at unfortunately 😕
Would love to see a Vallejo episode.

Thank you buddy 😁
Hello. Do you use some highlight technics at this scale? I think you at least dry brush machine gun in this figurine.
